What’s the highest amount of tables you can play while still playing your very best game??

I feel that too many tables hinder my game, so I limit myself to 2 or 3 at most.

For me it’s not about the maximum number, but the point where decision quality starts to drop.

I’d rather play fewer tables and make better decisions than chase volume and play on autopilot. When I add too many tables, I notice I stop thinking in ranges and just react.

So I try to stay in that zone where I’m still fully aware of dynamics usually a small number of tables, but with full focus.

The optimum number of tables and the number you can play your best at are 2 different things.

The optimal number of tables is the number of tables that maximizes your hourly earnings.

The number of tables you can play your best poker is probably 1.

I can play with concentration on up to four tables at a time, but I don't think it's really necessary. Why would you want to play at four tables? You would be better off playing at two tables with a double entry.

the ideal number is the number in which you feel comfortable but at least three I think it is a good number to start building volume and over time you will increase the number of tables

I'd say 4 for me, anything above that is too much, becomes difficult to really be at your best when you're under pressure because you don't have enough time to think properly
