Hi everyone!

We all know that online poker and live poker are two completely different worlds.

Behind our screens, we can play four tables at once in our underwear, sitting comfortably in a chair, clicking buttons to bet while the software automatically calculates pot sizes for us.

But the first time you sit down in a casino or poker club, it's a whole different story. The pressure of people watching you, handling chips, having to calculate the pot yourself... the reality check can be pretty brutal!

Personally, I remember announcing "Raise" when I only wanted to call, simply because I wasn't used to speaking my actions out loud. It was an incredibly awkward moment.

I'm curious to hear about your first live poker experience. What was the biggest mistake you made, or what surprised you the most when transitioning from online to live poker?

Thanks, Botuna! I do feel lucky, it was definitely an awesome experience to have.
Have you never had the chance to play live or visit a casino yourself? Not even a small home game tournament with friends?

For people who value convenience, I recommend the casino Mostbet. Quick Login Kasyno Mostbet works without problems and all the most important features are easily accessible. Several times I received money from winnings faster than I expected, which definitely increased my confidence in this brand.

decades ago when i was in college i ventured into a tiny 3 table local poker room in san diego . the game being played was no limit , 8 handed , 5 card draw with the 'bug '( joker good for aces ,straights + flushes ). the minimum buyin was $20 , everybody anted 25 cents, and you could check and raise pre and post draw . the opening bet was 2 dollars . most of the players were grizzled old timers , like i am now , and i was quite intimidated , they did all they could to push me around with raises . i was down several dollars out of my valuable 20 bucks , got dealt a pat straight ,8 high without the joker , but opened and folded when somebody made a huge raise . what a mistake ! i soon learned that was a 'finished hand ' and of course i should have just gone allin and stood pat .

My first experience playing Texas Hold’em live was nerve wracking…I played a single table tournament with 10 players…I just didn’t want to be the first player eliminated…I was in last place and played very conservatively until two players were eliminated in one hand…now I was 8th out of 8…after a few hands, I was dealt pocket 7s…I went all in facing AQ suited…my 7s held and I moved up to 5th…a few hands later I get J8 suited in the big blind…no raises so I got to see a flop…win that hand and go on to win the tournament…I was floating on air for the rest of that day.
