If I am in a heads UP and my opponent has a sit out, I would take the advantage. Poker is a shark tank, it's all about survival. I would therefore take every advantage.
It's actually unspoken etiquette in a tournament if a player goes all in and you call him and another player calls after the flop to check to eliminate the player who went all in. However, not every player adheres to this.

Unless you use the chat facility, this issue doesn't really arise. The best I can suggest is to refrain from swearing or insulting other players.
One thing I find annoying are throwables like on PokerStars. I can't for the life of me think what they are about or who came up with the idea, but you can turn them off.

There's no official rulebook for online poker etiquette, but most players agree it's good practice to wait for an opponent who's temporarily disconnected. However, the length of their absence, the stakes of the tournament, and your own personal style can all influence your decision. Ultimately, playing fair and showing respect is always a good idea.

If someone goes disconnected, i never wait more then have to, and i get the same treatment if i go offline.
When i was playing a lots of headups, i and usually other players too didnt just take one quik heads up match against you and then run away if won. It was usually at least couple, maybe 5-10 matches or something like that.

In tournament poker online, I just raise the blinds to the sitters. Because I don't like it when the sitters are doing better than the players, especially at the end of a big tournament.

Taking time to call river while having nuts is not good behaviour.
I would take advantage and won’t wait for me to lose connection 😂.

I believe that there is not much etiquette in online poker, apart from the fact that under these conditions the site allows the person to reconnect, we are all subject to this, and certainly the vast majority would play faster to acquire the most chips.
