Take a break. Its easy to get burned out on poker.. or anything really, that you put a lot of time in. Just step back from the game for a bit until you get the urge to start playing again.

Yoga, meditation or a good workout whatever helps you to clear you mind is good!.

For me I step away turn off the pc and stretch and meditate. Usually puts me in a good space and I come back either the next day or later that day depending o what time this happens. Also I find that stretching and doing simple breathing exercises before the game helps to keep me centered during my session. (thanks to another CC member that suggested I meditate

For me things are the opposite way, I've been an active Fx trader for the past 3 years. As it needs countless hours of sitting by your screen and follow every every single price action, gradually I felt the need for something in between, to fresh my mind between every 15min charts action. So to me poker is the rest time when market doesn't pay me off.

Personally, I like to take some time off from playing for about a week, after which I'll generally do strategy off the board for a week or two before getting back into it.

I've actually just started playing online again after almost a decade. I still play at friends houses and down at the casino but its not the same as playing online.

I play guitar and listen to music to relax normally.

If I see that I make many mistakes and I play a non profitable and with many losses poker , I cease playing for a day or some days and I review what I did wrong . Maybe combine this with a little study (I try to add more study-hours in my schedule cause it is very important ) .
Especially if sth made me go on tilt , I try to see what it was and if I am able to stop it from happeniing again .
Taking a break for some days is not a bad idea imo , if you're on a bad psychology from a downswing or from many bad mistakes made in a very short period of time and in critical decisions/positions .

I sometimes have such a situation. If this is the case, I just do not play poker for a few days or a week, then I'll take the time of the poker theory and try to learn something new.

I also play periodically. Lose money - delete poker. Then, in time, it's boring, and I'm coming back again):hahaha::hahaha::hahaha:

Poker is just a game. Try to temporarily switch to another activity - watching movies, reading books. You can also do physical activity - running, swimming, playing sports.

What do you do to have a rest when you realize that further poker does not pay off?
I read, walk, do housework, clean. or just relax. I have many options for how to use my free time. But in general, I very rarely take breaks because I don't play enough.

I have stopped playing poker for a month when I felt I was getting no joy from playing…also set aside one night each week for the whole family to go without electronics of any kind…no TV, no phone, no computer, no tablet, no XBox…that lasted for only one month, but we all had been refreshed.

I recently also don't feel any interest in playing poker, so I just don't. It's my hobby, so why do something I currently do not feel like. When the time comes, I'll probably play again. 🤓

I'm not tired of Poker, you know real POKER, I wish I could play it.

SADLY, all I have access to are these RIGGED FAKE online poker.
I wish there was a live room at my town so I could play some REAL POKER instead....

Well, I guess I'll just have to drop it...
CAUSE FAKE ONLINE is really starting to annoy me.
