Thank you!anbu210 said:@Emily Trott
Anonymous tables are online poker tables where player usernames are hidden or changed randomly.
You can’t track opponents over time, use long-term HUD stats, or know who you’re playing against repeatedly.
This makes games feel more like “fresh start” poker every session.
Some players like them because they reduce bumhunting and HUD advantage.
Others dislike them because reads, notes, and player history are a big part of online poker skill.
On the other hand, is it not better for recreationals not be identkfied immediately. It doesnt take too long tho, one limp and you know!fundiver199 said:Its up to sites, which kind of games, they offer, so how exactly am I as a player going to "allow" or "ban" any kind of games? It is however up to us, which games we choose to play. I have never played on anonymous tables and likely never will. For me its an important part of online poker to know, who I am playing against, at least in the form of a screen name and a location. Know who is a regular in my games, who is new and likely recreational etc.
