WSOP/softer online

Hey all, with wsop in full swing I have a question for you. Do you feel the online has softer games now?

I think so, at least on some sites. With a lot of regulars and pros focused on the WSOP, the online games can feel a bit softer. It's not a huge difference, but it can definitely be a good time to put in some extra volume.

If anything online games tend to be a bit tougher this time of year, because its summer, and many recreational players engage in outdoor activities rather than playing online poker. Its the opposite of the effect, we saw during the pandemic, where people were forced to stay home, and online poker experienced a massive boom with a ton of recreational players coming into the game or perhaps back to the game.
