world series of poker was a success. There were a lot of big names early in the tournament, but they gradually dropped out of the main event. Each day and highlights are separated for easy viewing. I was definitely hoping to see a popular poker pro at the final table.

What an amazing wsop Main Event final table! 🔥 And huge respect to Lauri Sääskilahti incredible performance and so impressive to see a Finnish player competing at this level. 🇫🇮 The final table was already special, but having Lauri there made it even more exciting to follow. What a run!

Donkey punt in my opinion !
yep , even a beginner isn't that stupid . he got away with several poorly planned bluffs earlier , and likely thought everyone else was doing the same thing to him .

WSOP didn't disappoint. We have Greg Mueller in the final table and it's great for poker.

Interesting perception 'got away with poorly planned bluffs'. If they were poorly planned then why did they get through? Why did he 'get away' with them then? fwiw I thought he played great.

In that near final hand... he went with his read. Unfortunate for him he was wrong. What if he had been right? It was ballsy!

I had a friend who played the Main Event this year and he made a HERO call later in the tourney. He was congratulated for it. Last year he made a similar call in a very similar spot but was wrong and busted out. His comment about the hand... he thought it was great.

Yes. and Certainly a well known pro. I was cheering for Greg for the last few days but unfortunately his game was a bit behind the times and wasn't quite able to keep up with the new breed. He was probably the weakest player on the final table which just shows people how good the other players actually were.

I agree. Perhaps he lost touch on some of his pro skill having to deal with non-pros. There were several hands where he folded winning hands.

Of course, it's always easy to say something on his plays when we're the expectators.
