High stakes cash game pro Garrett Adelstein has apparently retired and will soon release a book and a poker course on Upswing Poker. The latter is probably not going to be cheap, but he put out several free videos as an appetizer. I watched some of them, and I dont think, I am ever going to want to play on a level, where it takes almost 50 minutes to break down a single hand. But its pretty fascinating to get an insight in, how one of the most successful high stakes cash game pros in recent years think. And oh yeah. We are reportedly also going to hear something more about the J4 hand in his book. I am sure, people can not wait for that 🙂

perhaps it is easier to make money from book sales than beating the nosebleed games ?

Probably yes especially since he could no longer play on the Hustler livestream after the J4 hand.

Yeah he seems to be dubbling down on it yet again. Maybe its a way to get attention for his new book. I have honestly not been following it closely. I think, if there was any compelling evidence, we would have seen it a long time ago.
