Phil Helmuth wins 14th bracelet!

his playstyle is fine, however the way he insulting others is pretty annoying, even worse than Kassouf
 
No-one can doubt the skills of one of the poker legends. His table antics are part of his act, but he has gotten better over the years. I personally would love to sit at a table with him some day.
 
Phil is a solid player--no doubt. When watching Phil on tv I try to hide the noise during his rants, because this is where the pearls of wisdom often lie. If you can put the display of histrionics aside, his analysis of play is often spot on--not always, but more times than not. A lot of time on tv, it is the comments he is making on the side, during the next hand or two, where you can glean some insights as to what makes him a real pro. Even while others are laughing at him and having fun at his expense (which I can understand).
 
I follow the tournament and I see Phil Helmuth's game a lot, I know he's an incredible player, but today I see new players that are growing so extraordinary like Fedor Holz, David Peters, Nick Petrangelo.

My dream is one day to play a tournament of this and to win a bracelet, would be the maximum.
 
*yawn* he's played every wsop tourney forever and day. And probably for free because he's sponsered most times
 
I was just wondering how many boxes of tissues he went through? He is one player I can't stand to watch. I wish someone would tell him, "There aint no crying in poker!!!".😀😀
 
Whether you like him or not, you have to admit that he's good for poker.
 
I watched it a few times to play !! I did not know that it has won 14 bracelets. Impressive!!
 
people talking about how he sucked out twice but...

Name a SINGLE major event won by someone where the EV held for EVERY single all in situation and they didnt suck on someone once.

Suckouts are a part of the path to a final table and certainly a win of any WSOP major event.
 
oh yeah, and phil is a great player (he just got reputation for loosing his cool at the tables, something he does alot less now)
 
it was a few months ago but what an accomplishment. he will get about 20 when all said and done
