Ivey has been playing poorly in 2026. From February 2025 (second place at the Aussie Millions) to June 2026, he hasn't had a major win. This is the longest and most prolonged losing streak of his recent career. Nothing wrong with that. Daniel Negreanu has also had long losing streaks.

Ivey has had $6.9 Million in tournament cashes in 2025-2026 alone! He placed 9th a couple days ago at wsop $10k Limit Championship.

I think he's one of the old school players who has been able to keep up with the new breed. It'd be great to see him get a WSOP bracelet this year.

Well said. I thought he was taking a break to recover. Phil continues to play, perhaps he's just a little bit unlucky.

Phil Ivy is one of the best players of all time and probably still one of the best players out there Even though we don't see him anymore very much as he just probably limits himself to high stakes cash. It's kind of sad what he's done to ruin his reputation though with all the allegations of cheating and that in casinos. I actually ran into Phil Ivy this year and I won't say much more than that other than he is not a very friendly human being. I get you don't wanna be bothered and you don't want the fame to be a distraction in your life but………………………………………………………………………………………………………… I'll leave it there
