Who do you think will win the main event this time

I can feel that Daniel Negreanu is going to win this year I don't know why

If the Foxens are still in, I’d bet on one of them.

Its hard to say with still so many left but I like the way deeb is playing and picking his spots

Daniel Negreanu would have been an amazing story, especially after winning another bracelet this summer, but unfortunately he's already been eliminated from this year's Main Event.

At this stage it's so hard to predict a winner because the Main Event field is incredibly tough, and even the best players need a lot of luck over several days. Personally, I like seeing experienced pros make deep runs, but I also enjoy when an unknown player breaks through and changes their life with one tournament.

Who are you all rooting for now that Negreanu is out?

Way too early to tell but I personally hope Deeb will make the FT.
He shows consinstent results and he would deserve a ME final table

Umm... there are no ladies left in the Main Event.

What about 'Todd Brunson'? (son of the famous Doyle Brunson)

Same two clowns who are often bashing online poker. Seems online poker is not the only type of poker they're out of touch with.

I'd like to see Todd Brunson take it down. He is currently 21st/21 left. It's been 50yrs. since his father won it back-to-back. What an amazing thing it'd be for him to take this down. 15bb's & a dream!

Of the remaining 21 players I'd like to see the following players on the final table.
Shaun Deeb - when I started playing poker online I used to rail this guy's tournaments on Fulltilt Poker. He would play everything from $5 to $1,000 buyins and treat all with same goal 'win'. He was known for putting in huge volume aka 'TedsFishFry' on Fulltilt. After Black Friday he gravitated towards mixed games tourneys, no longer focusing on NLHE games.

Hossein Ensan
A former Main Event champion, currently sitting on a good stack in 8th/21 left. It'd be great to see him get to the final table. Apparently he only plays a handful of tourneys each year these days. Seems he picked the right one to play this summer.

Michael Gagliano aka 'Gags30' Another player who used to play a lot of MTT's on Fulltilt & Stars pre Black Friday. He was mostly a mid-stakes MTT player online back then. He looks to be playing great! I hope he makes it to the final table today.


Greg Mueller aka Greg'FBT'Mueller. I recall this guy back on Fulltilt poker. He was a good friend of Gavin Smith. Mostly a mixed games tourney player and Limit Hold'em specialist. Resides in Vancouver BC. Would be great to see him make the final table as well.

Brock Wilson High Stakes MTT player. His stack was decimated on day 7 & to me it looked like he'd be going out but today he is sitting with 27bb's in 18th/21

I'm surprised to see so many well-known players still left in these last three tables. My three favorites are Hossein Ensan, Todd Brunson, and Shaun Deeb. Personally, I'd love to see Shaun Deeb win it, but if any of those three take the title, I think it would be great for poker.

I really can't call it, Hammoud seems to be getting things going, although I am watching about 40 mins behind!
