What do you think of this game?

I’ve been able to build a decent bankroll playing this game, but wonder if it leads to bad habits.

For those who don’t know…it’s an 8 handed game. Costs $1 to play (I think it’s 91 cents plus 9 cents rake). Essentially…if you finish in the top 4…you double your money (minus the rake)

Since you don’t have to win, I find I become a tighter player…even with really good hands.

Is this a bad habit to get into or is it a good way to learn to play good poker by only playing good hands in good position?

DoNs are good practice for satellite tournaments, because its the same concept. You either cash, or you dont. But after 888 Poker removed all buyins higher than 1$, this is hardly something worth specialising in. They are also very fast cames, and I am kind of impressed, that you have been able to beat them.
