my client did a blank on all ring tables, so I tried closing client and now i'm not getting back in..

The servers are down. I am still in the client and watched everyone time out. While I was posting this, they seem to be back up. But tournaments still appear suspended. Maybe in a couple of minutes they will resume.

I was currently playing in the 22$ Manic Monday and the ACR client completely froze on me(as usual). This is the last time I am playing on ACR. Going to take my money back to Bovada. Enough is enough.

I was also involved in a 200 dollar pot at one of the 1/2$ cash tables and the client completely froze when the turn came. Sickening to say the least.

That is exactly what the perpetrators of these attacks want you to do. I would not put it past other sites being the cause of these attacks.

I know a person, who knows a person who said it was for ransom again. Of course, I can't vouch for the person I know. It just may be bull.

EDIT: I am so irritated about this whole situation. That was 200 or more dollars that should be in my account at the moment. Absolutely unreal.

Get the hand ID under "current hand" if you havent closed yet. Otherwise, go to replay and download your hand history to find the hand. Not sure if you can get hand history if you closed the client, but worth a try.

New attacks all tourneys paused.

But don't worry valued and loyal players as soon as ACR gets 20% of the problem solved you will be able to register for your favorite tourneys. And as a bonus for your loyalty, you will will get disconnected regularly with intermittent super lag.


But have no fear you will likely only have to wait in limbo for an hour or more even though ACR has a policy that after 30 minutes of these types of issues, all remaining players will be paid out on a chip per player basis.

Exactly. This is NOT the first time this kind of incident has happened with them. This has happened on numerous occasions. It is shocking to me that an online card room being responsible with others people's money does not have the proper security measures to prevent DDoS attacks from happening. These companies need to be held responsible from time to time.

No more excuses from ACR. Getting my money refunded and cashing out. Time to get the hell off this software.

A3 of diamonds got the bet slider pulled to the right push the raise all in .... ooo Time clock .. then disconnect clock .. watching waiting .. cmon accept my bet everything's been glitched up A3 sooted is GO time incase I get Inactivated .... nope folded .... 2 others get all in .... but my nut flush ... ahh well ... it was just going to be a lucky preflop all in nut flush for 2 eliminations and something of a chip lead in early stages ... but I was going with it ... what to do .. I'm still in Grind grind worked up 2x lead on 2nd place .lots of sitters inactive after suspension time .. gotz2b 300 inactive blind chase time free rolls are fun...grind grind .. 5th place in the end I think

I am currently logged on and the schedule pages are running. Only thing is all the April 30 games have been removed in last 5 minutes. Even the ones that were running. The CC freeroll did not even start.

It was. Not sure of the status right now. I just opened up the client, it downloaded an update and I got logged in no problem.

The server for the Cashier and Ads are not connected however. So that probably means any games on the schedule will probably not be allowed to start.

I pretty sure nothing will be running tonite. If they do start, I wouldn't trust they will last. So be forewarned if you pay any entry fees. Just hope you are far enuf along to chop the prize fund.

Amazing how they can keep those ring games and sngs running. You know, the games that pose NO risk to ACRs revenue. Guaranteed risk free rake and fees regardless if/when those sudden and mysterious DOD attacks pop up.

But they certainly can't keep those GTD tourneys up and running. After all, who wants to risk overlays, especially with those pesky DOS attacks.

It makes perfect business sense to run the covered games that will not hurt their bottom line if another attack forces games closure. Overlays would definitely hurt if they closed early and they had to split that GTD with those still in the game.

Makes sense to me that they will wait to schedule those until the attacks are 4 sure over. I agree with you 100%. When those come back then we can be more confident in the possibility that play will continue uninterrupted.

AGREED shut down, run tests, add in extra measures . I'm sure they have the software to test their hardware/software to the extreme measures, when fixed Then when fully competent ,start the show with no excuses

After the hiccup this afternoon for about 15 minutes, tonites games are running very smooth. The CC didn't happen, but others after that did.
