ACR won't open the tourney lobby for me and won't let me quit ACR because it thinks I was successful in getting it to open the tourney lobby (which I wasn't). So now I have to restart my Mac which I virtually never have to do except when I run across really badly behaving software like this one.

BTW - I looked behind the visible window where ACR usually hides new windows, but nothing was there this time.

Sigh, I thought that was finally behind us. I was just about to make a move and now I don't know what the heck to do.

I want to sleep if it's frozen, but they have restarted games after a short delay before, I hate this.

Is there a current problem with the server?

This is totally different than the last time. The servers are just not there to connect to for some reason. Cash games are not available either. The Cashier is still working though.

Yup they have "unexpected" maintenance according to the incompetent chat person I talked too. same old garbage.

I'm just glad I was 2nd in chips one one final table, deep in the Phat $7500, huge stack in another, and had just flopped a set in a huge pot brewing in another. Ugh, this site is truly the worst site I've ever played on in 15 years.

Nope. But don't worry, just take comfort in knowing that your time has zero value to ACR.

Even though their policy states that after 30 minutes of problems, everything is cancelled and you get paid per chip, you ultimately just sit at your computer for an unknown amount of time and wait for the admin announcement for fear that a miracle will happen and the games will start up again.

Its already been 40 minutes and no announcement at the tables.

Bravo ACR, you made it one week before your garbage servers crashed. I mean an unexpected DDOS attack. Pathetic

I just received money for the frozen tournament I was involved in, I actually got more than what I originally invested (I actually was in danger of not cashing ITM).

This probably means all the tables are getting cancelled?

We are deeply sorry about the issue we are experiencing at the moment. It's NOT a DDoS Attack, it's more a technical issue that our techs are working in order to have it fixed as soon as possible. Again, apologies for the inconvenience.

I also read some of the replies to that Tweet, people have already received their refunds and/or ICM chops of the cancelled tournaments they were in. This was possible to see since the Cashier was NOT affected by this issue and players could see that their balances were credited.

Yes, you are correct. I just posted an update from their Twitter feed and some people who replied to it saw the same thing as you did -- money going into their Cashier accounts.

And true about not being ITM, good things do happen. I had that happen to me as well a few weeks back as well.

I was being sarcastic about the DDOS attack. I never believed that was the reason before anyways. I've been saying for 2 years their servers are garbage.

15 years online, 15 sites played and NONE have had the continued issues like ACR. Unfortunately, I'm in Nevada, so my only option is ACR. The old saying holds true, "you can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig"

I have been credited for 2 of my tourneys so far, the other 3 still show up in "my tournaments" tab.

Given my stack sizes and position in my tourneys, I would be making far more had the site not gone down. But it's ok, when you jump out of an airplane when you know the parachute has a gaping hole in it, well, you get the point. This is expected at ACR, nothing has changed since the "new" (looks exactly the same) schedule came out.
