blobman said:Are there no longer $0.55 On demand tournaments? I don't see them in the lobby (at least on Mac client)
Blobman,
We have many right now: $5+$0.50, $3+$0.30, $7+$0.70 and $20+$2
Let me know which one is missing
Regards

ScooperNova said:Your welcome Ace. No need to say sorry, I think I should. I wasn't sure what you were referring to at first since you didn't quote me, which is fine. When I went back and read my post it seemed kind of smart alec to me. I'm not even positive your initial question was answered in this thread. I have seen the answer on cardschat at some point. I didn't intend anything negative, I just pointed out kind of bluntly that the company line on a mobile application was confirmed at some point by the ACR rep. It was a poor attempt to answer you question and a little too blunt. There was good intent there on my part too, as I understand not wanting to peruse an entire forum to find a simple answer.
If my memory serves me correctly they said it's coming soon, but didn't offer any timetable. I'm not positive when I first found out, but it feels like "soon" is passing. The ACR rep usually responds to that question if they haven't in a while. I wonder how the rollout of Mac is working out. That could have an impact on the mobile application release date. Welcome to cardschat and good luck at the tables!

SteelyDanFan said:they promised a $1,000,000 prize pool for every Sunday in October and now they are going back on that promise. Adding two more HALF Million dollar tournaments in November to make up the difference doesn't suddenly make everything right. If I promise to pay back a $10,000 loan to you tomorrow and then change my mind and say that instead of one payment, I'll give you $100 a week for the next 100 weeks, you'd be outraged, even though I'm EVENTUALLY paying back my $10,000 loan.

new member at ACR,but very pleased one.with a software little more modern and a lower deposit ammount,i think the players will increase importantly, which(the lack of players) is a little problem.big advantage of the software that it doesnt give bad beats all the time and sometimes the better hand wins in preflop all in situations unlike other known softwares(you who you are).keep the good effort there at ACR
ps:the 10$ on demand freeroll that is all day long is top tourney
blobman said:For the second time now, I'm having the problem with the Mac client where I open it, everything is working fine, then out of nowhere the lobby freezes, so I force quit the application, and then when I reopen, it acts like it's loading as usual, but then when it says "starting" it just fades to black and nothing ever comes up. So now I can't play the Cardschat freeroll or the SNGs I was about to play. Luckily I didn't register for anything yet, so I'm not losing any buy-ins. But this has probably got to be fix #1 for the Mac. It has so many glitches, but at least make sure it opens more than half the time!
blobman said:The Mac client appears to be working now. However, the fact that the client repeatedly goes not responding forcing me to force quit and reopen (and thus miss hands in ongoing games) makes me hesitate to enter anything other than micro stakes games. And the fact that sometimes when I'm forced to force quit and reopen the application, the lobby doesn't load, thus preventing me from playing any of my games for 12-24+ hours, it makes me not want to play on ACR at all.
I know the Mac client is in Beta, and I'm hopeful that the techs will be able to fix this issue in short order, but it's only fair that my fellow Cardschaters are familiar with the risks of using the Mac client.

What is the difference in the combat points you get at the table, and "ap" points that unlock bonuses?
Yes, I've heard of it.MasterOfDisaster said:Rakeback?

ACR Rep said:Good day,
Combat Points are based on the Dealt Rake Calculation
Award Points are based on the Weighted Contributed Rake Calculation
Also note that you get 1.5 CPs per RP since you have a higher military rank.
To check more information on how each works you can go to this link
Disaster said:I posted the screenshot of the suspended free roll tourney last week. For the record, they credited me 74cents. not the $2 I was hoping for, but it was a fair gesture.
Now if I ever catch fire like that in a big tourney and it is suspended with 56 players left...there will be blood-that is all.
