Betfair and Pokerstars

With Betfair moving to Pokerstars, I was wondering if there is any point in bothering to set up a Betfair-Pokerstars account for those who already have a Pokerstars account, ie are there any Betfair specific promotions ?

Probably best to ask Pokerstars support about this
 
Hopefully they will not allow people to have more than one account for game integrity reasons?

I looked into it a bit and it is very unlikely.
It would be no problem when betfair users wouldn't be merged to the global PS playerpool.
But merging is already planned starting with UK users

Yeah btw... PokerStars has always been very careful not allowing skins or even nickname change. iPoker is much more loose and allows you to change nickname or play with multiple nicknames.

Flutter probably didn't think of this change thoroughly.

It’ll be exactly the same as what happened with Full Tilt Poker. When PokerStars acquired Full Tilt, you could only play using an account registered with PokerStars, while the old Full Tilt accounts were shut down.
 
Pokerstars should be the site with the most restrictions regarding security and dual identity, at least that's what I think
 
I have accounts with both Betfair and PokerStars, and I’ve had them for quite a long time. I mainly use Betfair for sports betting, and they often offer promotional bonuses, usually for slots and sports betting......
