Hello,
It's the privacy policy that I'm really interested in.
How is worded such that a player cannot be told the details of his own account? and thus who his affiliate is?
I could certainly understand that a third party could not request this information, but how is it that the FT privacy policy makes the details of a players account private to even that player?
Do you see where I am coming from?
So could you offer a bit more of an explanation in regards to that.
Best wishes
Stu

Subject: Full Tilt Poker - Your Affiliate Query (KMM17395312I15977L0KM)
Hello Stu,
Thank you for your response.
Most of our affiliates own a website and have our banner advertised. If a potential player clicks on this banner, they are taken to the Full Tilt poker sign-up page and are automatically tracked to the affiliate.
Unfortunately due to our privacy policy, I cannot disclose more information.
What I can say is that Full Tilt Poker has relationships with various non-rakeback affiliates, and they receive commission on all real money players they send to Full Tilt Poker.
We will look at ways of adjusting our privacy policy to allow more information to be shared.
If there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We're always here to help.
Regards,
Anthony

Dear Sir
We are having a discussion on a forum about getting RB on an existing account.
I understand the affiliate system completely so this is definitely not a question about why someone cannot switch affiliates.
However one point keeps cropping up. Some people sign up via an affiliate
and for whatever reason forget who this affiliate is. FT will inform them
that their account is linked to an affiliate but have a policy of not revealing who the affiliate is. Could you take a bit of time to explain why it is that FT will not inform a customer as to the identity of their affiliate.
I will post your comments in the forum so as to inform the others who are also asking this question.
Best wishes
