.....reckons that you hit the lowest multiplier 46.5% of the time, which from memory is roughly what I thought.

This essentially, they say, doubles the rake if you keep buying insurance.....which therefore seems like a pretty pointless thing to do.

I think actually though, you are paying a rake of 3.5% on your free game by purchasing insurance?!

The calculation might be correct but is greatly compensated by Killerwhale status

No poker room will ever put an option were they gonna lose momey with.It would be a road to bankrupty for them.

If i can compare its like insurance in black jack....mathematicly it will always favor the house and is a bad option.

I use insurance in Spin & Gold 3 player but not in Spin & Gold 6 and I seem to make a profit from doing this.

The Spin games are not very profitable due to the 2x prize class, but due to the 1000+ multiplier spin options, it is worth trying them out to see if you can get a big spin. 🧐

any format can be profitable... all about timing , strategy and length of session.
there are people who are succesfull in the long run... just because we didn't make huge profit doesnt mean nobody else did... despite whatever rake it is..

No, it's not profitable. I actually consider spin & go games to be more profitable for poker rooms. No poker room will give away more money than they earn. Spin & go is like slots in a casino. When the slots are filled with your money, they give some players a chance to win a little bit. The same principle applies to spin & go. I prefer tournament poker.

In my opinion, without any calculations, it is obvious that insurance is a scam.Moreover, this is true for all insurances that contain the word “insurance”.

a very interesting topic for those who want to learn spin go, yes, you can't make money there, playing with insurance because you will be standing first, but there is one plus if you play and get on the leader board every day, you will receive even extra money in game tickets and you will be able to make money from them

I agree but it's really different in the time period of their Killer Whale promo.
As soon as this ends , i wouldn't play with insurance on a regular basis.
And even if it wasn't profitable during the whale promo...don't care...I make enough cashback already 😁
