I would introduce additional poker variants beyond Hold’em and Omaha if they aren’t already available. I’d also implement fair rake structures and a rewards system where players can earn achievements, similar to ReplayPoker. These achievements would grant points that could later be redeemed for merchandise or other rewards.

First, I would hire staff to help me manage a poker room as I have never done that. Then, after about six months of watching and seeing how it worked, I would start making changes if it was needed.

It is dumb to buy a business and then start changing things around. You need to see how it works first from the inside and you do not want to piss off the regulars <3

From what I hear about poker rooms they can be sexist and there would be strict policies and backup for the people being treated improperly. A safe place for every human <3 too give me there moneyyyyyy :p That is more common sense over a change though <3

I would get rid of the bots, so that to leave the game be more real. I would put more games, and I would put offers and competitions that wouldn't need impossible things to happen to win. I would also change the winnings of the tournaments, and I would make a better share.

The most common complaints about poker rooms are related to lack of gaming options, poor room layouts, and unfair practices. If I were the manager/owner of a poker room, I would first be clear of any unfair practices that might discourage players. You would then implement a variety of gameplay options to meet different player preferences and skill levels. This would help attract a wider range of players and create a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

To implement: good food prepared by chefs with different specialities, snacks and drinks free, tournament's for everyone starts from 5 $,good music inside with tematic theme every day

One thing I would do is have some sort of loyalty program for the players, stuff like month end rake back tournaments, free entries to tournaments if you play for a certain amount of hours in a month, and free dinners to the nearest restaurant for regular players. I would also make sure to have a trusted and good crew around me, people that the players like and respect.

How would you manage your own poker room? Probably coming up with some (unusual) promo for start (which should see people storming towards it) like 100.- for every customer !!!

Probably not the smartest business decison but who cares

What immediately comes to mind is that I would get rid of the spectator stands ("rail"?).

The constant shouting and cheering, especially towards the end of a tournament at the final table, takes on absurd proportions and really gets on my nerves:rolleyes:!
A manager might see it differently - but as an owner, that would be my wish.

I would suggest easier ways to qualify for tournaments in the poker room, for example,9 or 10 handed sit &go´s and the winner ca play the event.Maybe some rakeback system for loyal cash players would be appreciated

I would introduce the classic Sit and Go with a table of 9 or 10 at GG Poker from a stake of 0.10 dollars and an external control of the poker room that the software is not manipulated to give the players more confidence that everything is running correctly.

I would bring more diversity in tournaments like I would bring back multi-stack tourneys, tourneys where you win special avatar if you win it and most importantly multiple rebuy formats... we live in a world with way too many re-entry tournaments.

The first thing I would do is invite a priest who would cleanse my poker room of negativity, then arrange the halls to match poker traditions, advertise the establishment outside, increase the range of snacks and drinks, and introduce daily freerolls for regular players in order to attract new players. The operating mode is 24 hours a day.

The first thing I'd probably do is keep an eye on players who cross the line with aggressive talk; I'd like to maintain a fun atmosphere. As for the game, I’d want to have a cashout feature for all-in plays since I think it really helps some players’ mentality.

If i become a manager of my own poker room.

Things i would implement would be.

Try to make the Rake a good level to attract players. But still anuff that it's not at the detriment of the casino.

I would also Ban use of all forms of tect, AI and real time assists on the poker floors other then what is needed to run the rooms.

Things i would get rid off.

i would reduce shot clocks and time banks for a faster paced games

I would also make sure rules in regards to poker etiquette and behaviour applied for all player no matter who you are.

(No Special Treatment For Helmuth)

lol

If I were the owner of a poker room, I would add more freerolls first of all. I think PokerStars was wrong to refuse CardsChat freerolls. Thanks to these freerolls, many players could earn a starting bankroll and thus move on to play other disciplines, thereby increasing the turnover of money in the poker room and there would be more players. Freerolls and inexpensive tournaments attract more players to poker rooms, many of whom can become regular customers in the future (this is my personal opinion). I would add more game disciplines. For example, some poker rooms do not have the "Heads Up" discipline, or some other disciplines. Thirdly, I would think through the interface more carefully. More specifically, in some poker rooms I do not like the way you can customize the bet slider. Somewhere there are too many buttons for hot bet buttons and they cannot be blocked or disabled, and it turns out that many functions are displayed on my screen that I do not need at all, and in other poker rooms, on the contrary, there are few of these hot buttons. For example, on postflop I need to make 5 hot buttons for betting and comfortable play, and there is an opportunity to make only 4 buttons. These are the main points that I as a player lack. As for removing something from poker rooms, I would not remove anything, but on the contrary, only add and constantly try to develop my poker room and create better conditions for players.

We will bring back smoking at the tables. Always looked cool when the room is smokey and they guy with the big stack has to put cigar in mouth before pushing all chips in table.

We will be banning all phones at other devices like iPods. Table is for playing cards and talking shit not for chatting on phone and playing Candy Crush (Although I do love me some Candy Crush).

First thing I’d get rid of: excessive rake. High rake eats into players’ profits and discourages regulars from returning, so lowering it would make the games more appealing.
First thing I’d implement: player rewards and promotions. Regular incentives like cashback, leaderboards, or freerolls build loyalty and create a more engaging, community-focused atmosphere — key for a successful room.

For sure, you will offer non-alcoholic drinks and a snack from the club, I will have a vip membership that would have access to a free tour per month with prizes in trips to special places and I will definitely not accept nervous and recalcitrant people in the club. Are some of my ideas.

I would get rid of the rake and charge an hourly rate to play. Charge a fee to enter! Have live music for the non gamblers!

To earn a pretty penny, you don't have to be a leader, you just need to find a niche that leaders and other competitors don't see yet or that isn't of interest to them. It's strange that there is no Bitcoin room with Americans, Englishmen and Brazilians.Cryptocurrencies are hard to block and are truly liberal, even if dangerous.I don't mean deposits in crypto, but rather playing with it.The goal of the room owner is to attract as many players as possible and keep them in the game. If a visitor visits the site every day and spends several hours playing cards, then he will pay several hundred dollars a month just for the rake. Such a client can be considered almost ideal. For a poker site, rakeback is one of the most powerful marketing tools. Rake and rakeback have a direct impact on both casino revenue and player satisfaction.Get ready right away that my new site will have a hard time competing with such monsters as PokerStars, Full Tilt, 888 in the face of huge competition. These companies have everything: fame, authority, long history, huge advertising budgets, all possible analytics on the state and development of the market. But what can make players leave them for my project?Your own vision of the ideal poker room, and understanding how to interest a certain segment of the audience, finding a way to reach a larger audience and working in a local market that has not yet been taken over by large companies. This requires knowledge, experience, time.
Imagine losing a hand for $10c then finding out in 10 years that it's worth $1m :)

What a creative topic!! Well, the first thing I would eliminate would be throwables! There are players who abuse these devices. As for what I would implement, punishment and expulsion of rude and unsportsmanlike players!

I wpuld have a mony penalty for slow play and when a majority of players at a table agree, kick out a playewr the others cannot stand. If they want to be provactive, out they go.
