I know I'm a bit thick, but I don't see what criticising the GG casino has to do with playing poker. I have played online poker for 15 years (not on GG, though) and never yet gone on to a casino game. How are the poker games being unethical? Can someone explain?
Everything is well noted. GG Poker is more about the casino than about poker. They always do everything in their favor... They take a percentage of the withdrawals, meaning you're already in the red on this site. And now they've disabled Luxon, thereby encouraging people to use dubious deposit and withdrawal methods. I support the author of the article, GG Poker are the biggest charlatans in the poker world. P.S. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't have as much money as all the players on the platform. It seems to me that this is a second full tilt, and the owners are already having a nice rest on the money of players who made deposits. Again, this is just my guess.

This is perhaps YOUR experience... mine is completely different. I've never even looked at a casino game on GG (didn't even know they exist). And the poker on GG is MASSIVE!!! Including they are holding the wsop events. Did you see the final table yesterday or were you spinning some wheel that EVERYONE knows is a losing proposition. (I mean who honestly doesn't know this???). Top 6 all won at least $1 million dollars for a $5,000 entry. 1st place won $3.9 Million! Incredible!

I'm not going to go over your OP point by point, but everything you claim as "unethical" is either a feature that people like (smooth software), things that can be done irl (rabbit hunting and slow peel), and things that are easy to understand or outright ignore if you have half a brain (AIoF being a losing game, spins as rake generators, PokerCraft notshowing rake). Hell, most people who play those know they're not gonna wing big but play them because they find them fun.
Offering a flashy, smooth, accessible and simple gaming/gambling platform isn't unethical or scummy at all. It's good business. Adults can make choices on where and what to play and it's not up to the service to have "morals" and scruples, its up to the customer.

Thank you. My take is that GG are not the only company in the world (and not the only casino site) to try to trick people into losing or spending money. TV adverts do it all the time. I see that I'm not the only person to decline to play in an online casino (see Poker Orifice's post). It's easy - just don't click it! That is real gambling, as opposed to poker which requires a level of skill to make a profit. I don't gamble. Simple. PokerStars: KYC passed in a day, set the responsible gaming limit to $10 deposit daily, tried to deposit but there was no way to switch the currency to USD. If I attempted to deposit GBP to the USD wallet, it had a huge markup in the exchange rate. Then I couldn't even deposit anything because all payment method had a minimum deposit amount of £8 or more (which is more than $10). The customer service didn't work at all, in App the chatbot didn't understand my query and in website the login form didn't recognise my username and password.

There has to be something wrong with the RNG there, by wrong I mean fraud. This happens every single time I get baited into depositing on this pos site.

I have to say that if you spend so much time writing such a huge article just to make GGPoker appear as a rip-off site, I think you must have a problem with gambling yourself. I personally have already gambled away a lot of money and do not blame the poker site for it, as it is at my own discretion not to play anymore or even participate in any games at all.
