I didn't notice. The question is how secure these websites and apps are.

Didn't notice, don't care and don't trust every tom, dick and harry that comes along. When it comes my money I deal with people, businesses and sites I trust and are proven to be trust worthy. I very unlike your avg stupid poker player who just throws money around and trust everyone......then is shocked when he gets scammed and or not paid.

Not shocking in 21+ years of playing poker I've never had a problem not being paid and have never been scammed.

Cheers!!!

Most of them offer crypto as a deposit/withdrawal method but I don't think it's wise to 💯 trust them

What worries me about these various apps is the security and reliability of the games. Because of this, I prefer to be conservative and stick with the older WPT and PokerStars.

Despite my advice above and saying I don't trust every tom, dick and harry that comes along and while normally play at only Pokerstars mainly...I have played and cashed out on GG and have tried and have $50 in WPT currently. Have had no issues with any of them. I also have tried Phenom Poker back when it first came along and they offer crypto deposits. Never had trouble there and i found the crypto deposits pretty easy once they walk it thru it and help as I that was my first time dealing with crypto. Deposits and withdraws were both so quick they basically instant. GG also does crypto deposits as that's where I ended transferring my Phenom Poker withdraw in the end. Again was instant and hassle free. So don't let the crypto deposits and withdraws concern you long as you're dealing with a decent well known site.

Only reason I left Phenom was there just wasn't enough traffic and what there was mainly played above what i wanted to play and when they first started they didn't offer MTT's or SnG's it was all just cash tables.

Cheers!!!

Sorry, but I didn't understand the point of the question. There are applications, there are more and more of them, but you don't have to use them all :)

Don't really care about the appearance to be honest, what matters is the credibility. Is it a legit and secure site, that's the importance

Just stick to known reputable sites. If a new site is successfull, there will be plenty of time to try it out.

Good morning everyone.

I started playing poker in 2018 and, in my opinion, there is no single standard among online poker rooms. Although more and more platforms are appearing, I see that they have many differences from one another.

The software is one of the main points. PokerStars, for example, has its own system and is not similar to other software in the market. The same happens with rooms like 888poker and PartyPoker, which also have their own characteristics.

Regarding tournament structure, there are big differences between the rooms. Some have a more relaxed structure, with slower tournaments and longer blind levels, while others have a much faster dynamic. PokerStars and WPT Global, for example, usually have different structures from rooms like ACR, which generally has longer tournaments. GG Poker, on the other hand, has a structure known for being faster.

Another important point is the size of the field. Depending on the room chosen, a player can find a huge number of participants or a much smaller field. Rooms like GG Poker usually gather gigantic fields, with many players in tournaments. Platforms like WPT Global, PartyPoker, and 888poker usually have smaller fields in comparison.

In addition, there is the issue of security. The most well-known and established rooms in the market are usually the ones that provide more confidence to players, especially regarding payments, support, and platform stability.

Therefore, I believe that it is not possible to say that all poker rooms are the same. Each one has its own characteristics, and the choice depends on the profile and goals of each player.

Wpt feels like a dumbed down version of GG to me. Jack and stake are based on the same buyable software that anyone can license.

If you think those 2 pairs feel similar I agree.
