Has anyone else noticed that WPT Global is running much faster and more smoothly now on PC? Before this update, I was having performance issues even with 16GB of RAM, a decent CPU, and an SSD. Now everything feels stable, with no lag or freezes, and it's much more enjoyable to play.

They certainly did. Took them forever to finally acknowledge a problem that was an obv deal breaker for many. Certainly was for me and im now looking forward to play more regularly there.

it's a little bit faster that's true.. but, still the worst platform.. they don't have any game setting at all.. no bet slider adjustments, they don't have players notes.. theses two essentials options exist in any other poker platform without exception.

Sounds promising as this was the #1 reason I haven't been playing at all on WPTglobal. It's unfortunate because even while only playing micro/low stakes I withdrew a couple thousand dollars in my first few months on the site. The site was a huge resource hog & began making it near impossible for me to play on it (I wasn't willing to give up playing on other sites).
Tonight I go to play for a bit, a new update starts loading and then the site fails to open... sigh!
Not sure what the solution is now for me. Uninstall perhaps... re-install?

I had to uninstall first as the new update failed to install itself after i downloaded it.

After i reinstalled everything was in order. Didnt really play by now, only opened one table to see and it really feels like they did a huge step in the right direction here.

I have two different Win 11 OS installed on the same laptop, it's a 2024 laptop, it has 32GB of ram memory, good graphic cards with 8Gb of nvideo memory and an insane 16 core processor... That old WPT App ran smoothly on Win11 Home Edition, but on Win11 PRO it was very slow and freezing... Same laptop, different OS settings, different results. Glad they solved it

oh and i forgot to mention that the old WPT app also ran without problems on a much weaker laptop.

Just downloaded the update. I am using ethernet and got this

It has definitely improved. The performance difference is quite noticeable. I hope they keep moving in this direction.

I've noticed an improvement too. The client feels a lot smoother than before, especially when multitabling. I haven't had the random freezes I used to get, so whatever they changed seems to have made a real difference.

Try switching to Wi-Fi. If your PC doesn't have a Wi-Fi card, try connecting a phone via USB tethering while the phone is connected to Wi-Fi. It will act as a wireless antenna and maybe help fix your location issues.
