Poker Stars Android App Update - A giant step backwards

Whilst I normally play on a desktop computer, when I need a break or have to multi-task, I sometimes revert to the Android App on my mobile phone.

Sometime in the past couple of months, the app, which was not brilliant to start with, took a giant step backwards IMO.

I can no longer search for my friends (or opponents) to watch them on mobile (or if I can, they've buried it).

Also, tourney info (such as what place you are amongst the remaining players) seem to have disappeared, whilst other info is generally just more difficult to find (e.g. how many satellite tickets are available as prizes).

I can admit that the default view does offer more eye-candy, but the search results really suck now.

How on earth did this qualify as an upgrade?

Should I be pressuring my UK-based clubs to move to a different platform? If so, which one(s)?

I realized that these days because I had to leave and used my smartphone. It was even angry. It is very bad. The functionality of the app has declined a lot. I think the only benefit is that it seems to me that you can play with more than 4 tables. But I’m not sure.

Big Step Backwards!

I agree, the new PokerStars mobile app is horrible. I cannot believe how much worse it is than the previous version. It even boots you out a lot and keeps doing it when you log in again. It doesn't show your position in tournaments (shows as 0). If you click on the progress bar of the Stars Rewards it takes you out of the game you are playing. It is hard to move around the sight... especially while playing a game. It is very difficult to find things you used to find easily. I still don't know where you can enter a Star Code on the app. I could go on and on about how much worse it is than the previous version.

I have had very similar expierence . I can't find a Starcode on this app . '' in play button keep disappearing and i can't check how many players left in the tournament .

I would been glad if i had such problems...

It's just that i can't log into the room after the last update.

I've already been waiting for the update for almost 2 weeks, but they don't want to release the update...

And not the fact that it will be possible to play from my tablet after the next update...

I hope that soon the current owners of the room will go bankrupt and the room will be transferred to new good owners )))
