PokerStars $1 Million Freeroll July 17

I usually make it a point to stay away from these all-in shootouts (since they make no poker sense) but a million bucks is a million bucks, so I'm in tonight's lotto. Thanks for the heads-up. I don't usually read the ads, so I wouldn't have noticed this otherwise.
 
i hate this kind of all in, cause can`t do anything until have few players, everything is computer. Yesterday i`ve won ticket but no result at all in tourney ;(

I was posting about this another thread the other day.

Last time, there were 36964 players and 36549 places were paid (98.887%). Minimum cash was $12.50.

I finished 1966th for $65.50.

This tourney is going to be more difficult with 89k players from the shootouts and the qualifier, plus new depositors in this one. Based on 75k being paid- minimum cash this time is $5.00. In order to win $59.40 this time, I need to place 720-836.

Well at least "winning" a ticket isn't really difficult to do.🙂

Play one real money hand of a cash game or play one real money tourney.

There will probably be 100K players so the real $ buyin value will be the equivalent of a $10 buyin tourney.

However there will be some sitouts adding to that value.

But lucky as I am there will probably be an aggro player at my table that wants all the sitouts for himself. 🙁
 
I wish they made the qualifying a little more difficult than play 1 hand of cash game :/

Well, thats just to be able to play in the daily allin shootout. Each shootout awards 8192 entries to the $1M Freeroll, though. But I agree, I still wish there would be less players in the freeroll.
 
I dont understand why dont they just let everyone play these tournament...
This qualifications are making me puke..
 
im probably the only member of CC not to qualify for this, i suck at all in shootouts

On July 16 there will be a "skill event" to qualify for the tourney. Maybe you'll get in there.

As for the donkey fest... Well I'm a donk so I should do well. 😀

And I wish qualification process would have a little more sense. Now it's more about luck than anything else. Playing one hand or one tournament is easy and these shootout are just lottery, which I can't yet win by the way. Hope I'll make it in the rest days, I still can try 5 times more.

I really hope us cc members do very well in the Freeroll. Hopefully a cc member (or more) can make the final table.
 
I don't expect much from the main event 1M.

It is a Turbo Tourney with 100K players. You better win some flips to get on top.

How the heck do you manage to compare those lists and how long does it take?

I guess that you have made some computer programs for extracting and comparing?

No, I manually color code all cc members that play in the 15+ and FRC tourneys, so all I have to do is look for the players that have a purple box next to their name in the allin shootut results. I just hit page down until I see a purple box. Only takes about 10 minutes. Copy pasting to this thread takes longest. 🙂

This looks pretty sick I'm definitely gonna try to get a seat. Never seen anything like it.
