Cash games are still running but tournaments are remaining down for now. Connection issues are still occuring; I have been d/c'd twice in the last half hour.
What is most likely happening is PS has had its servers DDos'd. It has happened to other poker sites recently. My understanding is that it is possible for PS to combat this with some type of software or network protection but they clearly were not expecting the recent attacks. From what I have seen DDOS attacks have been performed on many large company's websites and are pretty hard to avoid at least at the first instance, so no complaints about PS software/hardware from me.

I don't think anything will come from it as prizes were already distributed I don't see how they retroactively adjust them but we'll see what happens.
What happened yesterday was grossly unfair to some players. I was at a 6 max FT and only one of the smaller stacks was connected. He/she of course stole all of the blinds and won the tourney. Tourney never stopped and was never cancelled like the other ones.

Stars crash
I was in the money in the big 22. Stars crashed. They "compensated: me with $201. I was in 4th which would pay $700. I read their policy, and feel scammed. I also won a $30 6 max hyper SNG, and my winnings werent credited. Ive been emailing them for the last 24 hours, and they say they're resolving, and will be compensating "fairly"
I know that Im not a high roller, so I probably dont matter so much to them.
I'm just curious to hear others' experiences, and whether they've been compensated yet or not.

Yep. We are both unlucky, I'm in the top 3 positions before the second break which happens not often. Lets hope they will fix it, although since its a freeroll, they will probably just cancel it🙁
That sucks! I cant imagine how I would feel playing a paid tourney and running really good only for the tourney to cancel.
