Anyone else in the UK lost their 'Daily Power Path Challenge Reward'?

Mine has disappeared today, yesterday the daily casino spin went - both unannounced.

I knew as part of the 'changeover' to Betfair 'Reward Chests" would go, but these two as well? Or is it just me?

Any other unannounced changes?

Yes all the rewards will disappear and be replaced with, whatever players on Betfair get. This is, what it mean, that PokerStars UK "move to Betfair". But you will still have the same software and the same games as before.

I seem to have lost my chests for rakeback too. Dont appear to have received any credit for the fact i had a nearly complete chest. It sucks they have removed rewards before any new ones added

They said they would credit in proportion to progress on the current chest - so I guess be patient.
I think they way they have gone about the rest of the rewards is a lame but I suppose it's very low priority for them.

Off topic a little but I downloaded Stars onto this laptop after getting an email about a casino chest reward so I was interested to see what it was about, there was $1.90 in my account but had to re-verify which went fast. After verification I played a $0.50 spinner probably my first Stars game in about a year, that was at the end of last week. Since then I've had a number of emails about their tools to help keep me on track and stop me from being a problem gambler 😀

It seems any 'change of activity' is used to send these emails, which are really just marketing dressed up as responsible gaming. For example if i stop playing for a while, i get these emails as its a change in my gambling habits!

I also recived the $1.90 @Martin

Looks like im gling to have to sign up to befair to continue using/playing on Pokerstars.

I have missed the deadline for withdrawing my USD PokerStars balance as I was busy in the past week. Previous emails mentioned that

On 5 October
Any remaining non-GBP balance in your PokerStars account will be converted into GBP as part of the move. No margin is added to the mid-market exchange rate. *If you do not want your existing balance to be converted into GBP, you should withdraw it from your PokerStars account no later than October 6*.
On 30 September
Other important information regarding payments:
* The default currency on PokerStars after the move to Betfair will be GBP (converted into USD in poker games) and the option to set a preferred currency will no longer be available.
* All PokerStars UK players will have a single Betfair wallet. Any funds transferred to Betfair from multiple PokerStars wallets will be combined into a single balance and converted into GBP. *If you do not want your existing balance to be converted into GBP, you should withdraw it from your PokerStars account no later than October 6.*
* After PokerStars moves over to Betfair, automatic foreign exchange (FX) conversions will be applied whenever you buy into, or cash out from, a poker table. This means you will no longer be able to choose when currency conversions take place.

Such a move is so customer-unfriendly and introduces unnecessary risk in my games.

Well that would have cost u like 3 minutes of your busy time and not sure what unnecessary risks were introduced to your games because of a automatic currency conversion.

If you had withdrawn, you would likely have had to accept a bad exchange rate USD-GBP, and now they did the currency conversion at mid-market exchange rate. And if you still want to withdraw, you can now withdraw your GBP without any loss from currency conversion. So not sure I understand, exactly what the problem is here?

Just managed to get Betfair and am playing. Note that the window saying that the site is being downloaded was hidden behind the main Betfair window.

I would have withdrawn USD without currency exchange if this move didn't happen.

If I continue playing now, I am exposed to GBP-USD exchange rate risk.

Been waiting several minutes for a single $.50 table to fill. Is his what it's going to be like from now on?

I didnt have any problems, games seemed same as normal. Its the same global pool so no reason to be different.

Had to reselect all my settings and move my old notes file, but the pain now is my HUD is not working, need to figure out exactly how to configure

Now I understand. I am in the UK, and it looks as if all the players on the new site I am on are from the UK. No wonder the entries are so low. Looks as if I will have to go to GG.

I’m not in the UK, but that sounds strange if both rewards disappeared without any announcement. I’d expect changes like that to be mentioned somewhere, especially if they’re part of the Betfair changeover. Hopefully it’s just a temporary issue and not another feature being quietly removed.

I'm in the UK and the site accesses the global pool, i think you might be doing something wrong?

Btw i logged into the normla PS App that took me to the betfair website to download the new app, which is called 'Pokerstars on Betfair' - this is the one you should be using and its the same global pool as before

No you are not. You live in the UK, where the currency is GBP, and your balance on Betfair is kept in GBP, so there is exactly zero currency risk. But there was before.

The poker games are played in USD. If my account is in USD, there is exactly zero currency risk when I play poker. Now, there is currency risk when I play poker because the USD value of my bankroll will fluctuate.

Then you just play slightly lower stakes, when your currency is weak and vice versa. It does not matter. Its much better to have your balance in your own currency, because then there are no hidden fees from exchange rates, when you deposit and withdraw.

I don't understand what you mean here. I don't need currency exchange and want to deposit and withdraw USD. I own currencies to match my needs, which, for the purpose of playing poker, is the currency used on the table.
