Pokerstars installing issues

I have both a MacBook Air and an iMac. I can download and play Pokerstars on the MacBook, but have a great deal of issues when I try to download and install on the iMac.

I am able to download the software, but once I open it the first thing I get is that Pokerstars is the application can't be opened.

First I get a pop-up box that says "Update is trying to install a new helper tool"... I put in my passwords and install this tool.

Second, I get a popup box that says "A newer version of the software is available on the server" ... I click on install.

The download completes, then I click on the pokerstars icon, this is where the process ends as I get a pop-up box that says "The application “PokerStarsUSNJ” can’t be opened."

I have tried downloading from the wetransfer site as well as trying to download Chrome, Safari and Firefox.

Any suggestions??

maybe this poker site is not available for your country and you cannot play on it, either try installing versions that were old before or pokerstars eu is no longer valid if you deleted the old eu poker and install the new pokerstars.com it is now relevant if these options do not work try installing Windows newer, the problem may be that too

I am in the US and it is not a windows operating system.
