Pokerstars moves to Betfair in the UK

As of August 13th Pokerstars in the UK is now known as Pokerstars on Betfair. I haven't played on Stars for a long time but as I use Betfair quite a bit I might end up giving it another shot. Paddy Power and Skybet are also expected to follow suit to make an even larger platform.

Well all those merges that are announced now, PokerStars and Fanduel, PokerStars on Betfair, PokerStars on Paddy.... are only mergers of still being Flutter Group brands.

I think this is great news for players who had deleted Stars accounts and couldn't play there anymore, now they can play through Betfair.

That is not guaranteed imo but possible yes if they dont take over data of banned players.

Quite a few players I know are back on Stars through Betfair even though they were banned so it may be something they catch up to in the future, from everything I've read they are treated as different entities and if you play with Betfair you are a Betfair customer not Stars. Time will tell.

But how do I open an account with Betfair if I have a PokerStars account. Do I close my PokerStars account first?

I dont know a single person personally who is banned there. Might be time to reconsider the circle of people u hang around with🤷🤣

Family men with kids are now cockroaches? I think it was more because Betfair offered them $10 free tickets to use the platform that enticed them.

I don't live in my Moms basement so I know hundreds of pokers players personally and many of them are banned from many sites for various reasons right down to refusing to tell a site which bank brokered their mortgage. I prefer to keep the company of family men than trolls who call people they have never met cockroaches.

I said like cockroaches and not that they actually are. Dont cry so quick please.

Noone gets banned for not giving out certain bank information. They might be unable to verify and unable to cashout but that does not mean they are entirely banned from the site. Thats a huge difference.

Super happy to not hang around in live venues yes because thats exactly where u meet all kinds of shady characters.

Good luck with your company of super clean family men who all "didn do nuffin" but somehow still got banned 😅👍
