Though I do play there enough to earn 100 points a week for my PL game - so will probably play a bit of this to get it quicker.

100 points takes 10 minutes of you 4-table 100nl FR rush...

That very well may be the case, I play at 10nl and if I did search him and he was sitting higher I wouldn't follow, But if that is not the case, I am ready, lol
Thank you

Probably ok at 10nl, but i'd be really careful if this was 100nl as a lot of really good higher stakes players have moved down to have some fun at the rush tables and obviously they're playing ridiculously from time to time since this is like pocket change to them. But if you follow them to their regular turf, they are über sharks.

Getting a read on a plyer is obv impossible but I think the goal here is to play the situation and not the player. Is that real poker....shrug. Time will tell if this is a novelty or if it will in fact change online poker.

I played again this morning. I learned that it is a lot like Limit poker played no limit style. Position in my opinion is more important than ever.

Thoughts?

I haven't played in it, but looks very interesting. Its probably something I won't really play often because I prefer to stay at one table and see what everyone at my table is doing. I wouldn't want to keep on guessing how people play by switching tables after every hand. :D

While its good that you dont have to wait for the slower players at the table to fold (zzzzzzzzz) and a tight(ish) player like me :D can just play the quick fold button most of the time ;), it feels more like a one-arm bandit game.

Just keep pressing the buttons until you have to nudge a few times.

Time will tell :)

edit - remember in the old days of table talk? :)

The problem with this style of game is that you are always sitting with different players, and there for you can't study them to see how they play for a few hands... I just lost 3 times I played it, because people run into sets, when I have a nice high pair...
Think about it. You just quick folded 20 hands and woke up with TT - QQ... Your opponents are doing the same. Sure maybe a 3xBB raise PF is not going to get pocket 7's to fold in the BB or CO. If they hit a set they hit a set.

Position is important. Very important in this. Reads on opponents are slim to none unless you note that player when you see him at your table. I had AK in the CO raised, was re-raised, flop came AAK BB check I min raised and he shoved with 99. There is some good money to be made here. I'd love to run into him again.

Wow, just tried 4 tabling it and it is as Belgo said, "Crack Poker", lol...has anyone done more than 4 tables? I was having trouble keeping up with 4 when I would get monsters on all 4 tables....ended up getting timed out holding QQ and AK on another....arrrr.....lol......I closed 1 down and seem to be handling 3 tables just fine now....

I dont know how you guys say these games are loose ? They were the tightest games I have ever seen. I was playing 50nl for an hour last night and then 100 nl for an hour. Both games the entire time was basically someone raises pot limit before the flop and everyone folds or someone re-pops the pot raiser and then he folds. I found it extremely hard to play any hand except for AA, KK and QQ. it was like robots, cut off or button always raise pot when it gets folded to them no matter what , then if get called, bluff away. too bad i cant hit anything when i call with suited connectors or mid pairs. I saw one guy at 100nl who had over 1800 dollars, so he musta been doing something right, or maybe just playing for hours and getting AA over KK a bunch of times? I thought i was gonna like it, but i really didnt

I did 4 last night. lol, generally those with large stacks are either the biggest donks in the world or they are really good, it's awesome to test it. Fold AK, it's not gonna hit lol... Stick to AA KK QQ and be full of win.

but you're probably not increasing your hands/hour that much by playing more tables, imo. I get to 1200 hands/hour 4 tabling FR. How many do you get with 8?

Also, do you mix stakes or do you mix 6max and FR? Because you're limited to 4 entries in a single player pool, aren't you?

Looks good, i've tried it for couple of hours.
U should play tight there, play small pockets and higher pairs, suited connectors and A-T/A-K hands

Just played some rush, I feel a little disoriantated and sightly poorer. Just nit it up, people play very bad, especially in the blinds.

Sitting 400bb deep and five a side footy plans in 30mins = the life.

EDIT: Because it's effectively one big table I don't think you can leave and sit down with less can you?

I'm running stupidly hot at avoiding the BB, is this a strategy?

Oh and what do we set mine with 10's?

I like it! It seems if u just play really tight than you'll be ok, being patient is still alot of action kinda... lol cuz u can fold so damn many hands. I have folded hands to big action in front/behind of me and then sat out to watch the hand play out..... yeah they were 4/5/and pushing with like AJo and KTo...@ 10nl.
It also seems a pretty easy way to make rakeback/iron man. Wonder if they will have FTPA challenges for while playing in a Rush game eventually also. What do you guys think about only playing the Tier 1 and 2 hands? Would Just tier 1 hands be too tight to make any money?

Also check this sickness out;

Yah... I'm thinking I'll be ratholing when I'm up on the rush tables from now on as well, lol... sigh.. shoving POT on the turn with flopped top set & getting called down by a Khi flush draw & losing a $38pot at 10NL was a bit disheartening, lol.
