Why are most poker sites in Colombia restricted?

It makes me so angry that I can't play poker in Colombia. For your information, PokerStars is banned in Colombia and it really bothers me that I can't play with my friends who used to be on the site.

Pokerstars was forced out of Colombia in 2017, ... they probably want you playing in all the casinos they have there that they have control of, it's usually all about the money
