I need some advice regarding my WPT Global account.

I won $10 from finishing 4th in a Cards Chat freeroll. Since the minimum withdrawal was $20, I used the money to place sports bets and eventually won $110. I requested a $100 withdrawal, but my account was flagged for KYC verification, and my withdrawal was put on hold.

I successfully completed identity verification, but I encountered problems with proof of address. Support informed me that the address on my bank statement differs from the one registered on my WPT account. My bank statement contains a shortened version of my address, while the address I provided during registration was more detailed. Unfortunately, I cannot find anywhere on the platform to view my registered address. I acknowledged that there might have been an error and explained the situation to support.

They also asked about another account I created on my device earlier this year for my mum because I was teaching her how to play. I explained that the account belongs to her and that I created it in her name.

Support subsequently informed me that my account was under investigation. This happened on Saturday, and I haven't received any further updates.

I'm confused about what the issue might be, especially since my identity verification was successful. Has anyone experienced something similar with WPT Global? How long does an investigation like this usually take, and is there anything else I can do to resolve it?

I'd appreciate any advice. Thanks.

There is not too much advice to give. You thought it was a good idea to create multiple accounts from the same device and now the only thing u can do is wait and hope they will believe your mom story.

That adress thing is a bit weird though, they should just accept the document and adjust the adress in the account if its similar and u cant adjust it yourself.

I had similar issue except nothing with other family member. They use 3rd party sources like social media for your address. I have no idea why and I don't wanna know but it reads so in their privacy policy.

I just wrote them polite email with another attachment of my address with the words "I am confirming this is my current address". I also did imply in the email that they clearly had misleading information (which they had) and that I was member of importance / had more knowledge than average customer. I got this situation fixed in under 24 hours. Don't get provoked or don't over explain, you got this!
