DriveHUD - Poker HUD & Database Software

Hey John,

I am loving all of the stuff being added in to Drive-HUD, How are you guys coming with the ability to change HUDs in the re-player? I can only have 1 HUD, - it would help my reviews if I could have the HUD I use in my games in the replayer??

Thanks for the feedback. We'll be adding it here soon. We're working on some more compatibility to sites right now, and then we'll be adding some more features. We have Leak Buster lite and some other cool equity functions coming in here soon that are new to poker.
 
Hi John,

I've looked into this and I must say I'm really impressed with DriveHUD's features and UI design!
 
Hud

This looks good although I would prefer to have a trial version first to test this out as there are a lot of Hud programs on the market so why choose this one over them?

Cool! But how does Leak Buster Lite differ from the original Leak Buster? Which would you recommend for a rank beginner (at least for managing poker leaks)?

There's a 30 day fully functional free trial. Both Omaha and Holdem are available in the trial, no limitations.

Drivehud is easier to use, it's designed from the ground up to be post game review friendly w/ built in equity calcs and large pot auto tagging in the replayer. The HUD design process is much easier and more powerful than any other hud out there currently. It has a complete badge system built in. Filters are easier to build and there's tons of pre-built ones that are one click selectable. It's also cheaper, easy to upgrade, and we're just getting started. 🙂

We have a new FlopEQ coming out, as well as adding an internal HUD store for users.

And, most importantly, we're stable software that is bug free. I'm not saying no bugs will ever happen, we're humans, but we've taken extensive measures to ensure that because we know the headaches that have occurred w/ other software options out there.

Leak Buster lite is going to be an internal Drivehud only feature that let's users know when stat ranges are out of balance. There's a full new Leak Buster 2 that's coming out that is essentially going to build on Leak Buster 1 that is currently out there that you linked to.

As far as for a beginner, the leak buster that's out there now has a mountain of info and is a highly recommended place for online players to analyze their game. There's just a ton of helpful info / videos, etc... that are available w/ one click. Leak Buster lite isn't going to have all of that. It's going to be a limited version of leak buster w/o video training content.
 
what is annoying with these programs is that give u info only in what happens on ur table ...so if u move table u don't get any info for the new players that u dealing with or if someone new join ur table u don't know anything about him either...so its a waste of money....plz correct me if I'm wrong and there is an advance program that covers the issues that I just said

I don't think you understand how a hud and database works. All history you have for players you've played against is saved and loaded when you play against them. The only time you won't have data on a new player is if you've never played against them before (which applied to any kind of poker including live poker), or you're on ignition (which is anonymous).

The most valuable parts of a database are results tracking, and hand review so you can improve your play. Even if you had zero data on opponents, the ability to filter and review your own game is invaluable imho.

Well, Drivehud is very plug and play. For some sites, you might need to add folder locations. But for how to setup and use a HUD, we have an online manual:

You guys know that I am a big supporter. I hate to keep bringing up Turn Bet %, I did the update and i have rebuilt my Stats- I did not dig deep , but since I added the turn Bet stat to my current HUD ,I can see that I am still getting results of over 100% noticed today , where it gives the amount such as 1 of 4, 3 of 7, I saw 2 different where it says 2 of 0? I did not look into flop as I said.😕

I want to know how I can begin a "new" database with DriveHUD without deleting my old hands. I am not sure I understand , DiveHUD is not using PostgreSQL any longer? Do I need to go to the forums? There is definitely a problem with my data

So you are moving to a new system? Yeah DH hasn't used PostgresSQL for over a year.

As far as your turn bet comment, it was a HUD display issue. The actual data was correct, and this was already addressed and fixed in current builds.

Except it is not "fixed" I still have over 100% and over 200% when I add turn bet% stat not only in HUD display but I am talking about when I am just looking at individual sessions.


I had to recover my statistics a few months ago and it took a very long time, so maybe I screwed things up , I do not know how it can be fixed except by starting over. I dont want to dump 100000 hands or more but I don't know what to do

If you're talking about postgreSQL like I said, we haven't used that for 1 year and 3 months now. So there was probably some migration that was missed, but I can assure you, those stats are correct. We don't have anyone else having that issue. So probably the best thing would be to zip up your database and you can send it to me manually and I can have a developer take a look at it for you, and hopefully correct/migrate what's missing. Just PM me with your email address.

I PM'd my E-mail, just send me instructions on location of database and I will send it. If you guys can figure out what is wrong, I would love to save the data that I have. I want to be able to stick with just DriveHUD, as of right now, I switched back to PT4. This is not my ideal solution.

I think you're the person who had the original postgres version of DH correct? And then you just updated from that version to the latest, which we switched from posgress over 1.4 years ago now. If that's the case, and your concern is about converting that data, I don't think it's going to happen. There's several migrations that have happened since the very first versions you had. But if you have PT4, why don't you just import the data you have from your pt4 archive directory into Drivehud? That's your whole issue here correct? You want your old data?

Nope the issue is not 'wanting my old data. The issue is it appears that DriveHUD is still not reading my data correctly. Do these stats appear correct? I have been updating constantly. So it is not a migration problem. I am just giving you turn bet stat% does this appear correct?? EDIT: It does appear that "Intertops" stats are all correct, I only have about 600 hands, this is what is confusing. That is why I thought it might have been a problem from my backing up my database. Using Drive-HUD to back-up not me doing it on my own.

I have been able to resolve my issue. It would be a very long answer to post here, I just want to say, that DriveHUD is working. I do not want people to think there is an ongoing issue with the software.

My problem was unique to me and my set-up. I have always been very vocal about DriveHUD support being great and always willing to help. I still believe that these guys are offering the best value in poker database software.


Looking forward to the next innovation.

Thanks for the post. Yeah, your setup was a little odd because you went from one of the very first versions w/ postgres to our updated non postrgres. But glad we got it working and we appreciate the support and kind words.

We have a lot more new features coming out. Some very cool ones I'll be posting about here real soon.
 
DriveHUD BETA release update – v1.4.5.2231:

- Added DrivehudEQ
- Fixed issues in Equity Calculator
- Fixed the issue when Ignition table couldn't be detected in some very rare cases

So this is a public beta of DHeq. We're still adding more to this including some hand value graphs w/ percentages. This version you can break down a range of hand groupings, have Drivehud create a range for you by check/fold, call, value bet, and bluff.

It will provide some general advice, and we'll be adding pot size options and having the advice and ranges reflect the actual pot size used in released version.

To use just run any hand in the equity calculator. Right click on a hand in the HH grid and select Calculate Equity. Click on the range button above your hand (or use hotkey CTRL+R to create a range), make sure to click pre-flop to get the entire hand grid. At the bottom of the pop-up screen you'll see an area that says DrivehudEQ. From there you can select auto range to have DH group hands for you or you can manually click on a hand range, and then select hands from the grid. You can do this for each hand grouping and you can adjust/change DH's auto range. Then click save, and you can calculate your equity vs. a range as well as see what your hand distribution is for that hand be total combos.

We'll be adding a complete but simplified solver in DHeq as well (it's in the works).
