It wasn't my bets I was upset about losing.. it was about seeing what the fighter is experiencing.

Yeah the purely sporting perspective is where it's insane that the system is this bad - we might lose a bet here and there, but especially in a sport where the difference between a win and a loss is literally halving a fighter's payday, it's crazy they haven't done something to improve things.

For us from a betting perspective though, it all just comes out in the wash.

I agree, and the same can be said about Israel. What a dissapointing fight. I hope Paulo Costa beats him, a champion should not fight like that, IMO. One thing is being cautious fighting Yoel Romero, which was expected of him and understandable, but not to that extreme extent. It was a poor performance.

BTW, I liked him in previous fights and wanted him to win against Romero, but not like that.

So the UFC has postponed all events until the April 18 fight between Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov. If this situation wasn't so dire, I would be joking about this year's "Ferguson Doesn't Fight Nurmagomedov Day" occurring on a fine Spring evening.

I really hope that fight doesn't get postponed, it was already too much waiting for it as such.
But their health always comes first and it would be unreasonable to ask fighters to train for such events when going to gyms is banned in most countries.

Habib vs Ferguson just got canceled... again. Russia won't let Habib leave due to Coronavirus restrictions in his home country, which is understandable. I don't know if this fight will ever happen. I think this is like the fourth time this fight has been canceled. They are trying to get Justin Gaethje to replace Habib and still have the fight. Dana White is doing everything he can to bring some type of normalcy back to the world, which I for one appreciate. It could be an American heavy card for the entire night though due to restrictions.
