Oh there are fights for Ronda but none other than Cyborg will carry a PPV. So if she wants to really get paid that fight will have to happen.
I personally don't think the Cyborg fight will ever happen - not at 135 anyway, and that seems to be the only place Rousey/the UFC is interested in seeing it happen.
But let's put that aside and assume for a second that it actually
did happen. Would it really sell that many more PPV buys than any other Rousey match?
Hardcore fans of the sport know who Cyborg is. But the casual fans and the general public, the ones whose attention you need to attract to
really move the needle? Chances are they've never heard of her.
The UFC can sell this fight as Cyborg is a beast, Cyborg is the most legit challenge to Rousey's title ever, blah blah blah, but those are the exact same things they said to sell the Zingano fight, and the McMann fight before it. Joe Public has heard this line before, and I suspect he won't get much more excited for a fight with Cyborg than he did about the Zingano/McMann matches.
IMO the biggest money fight in women's MMA right now is probably Rousey-Tate III... and I don't think for a second the fact that Rousey won the first two would stop the UFC from making that fight.
