Another late escape for the chiefs to go 10-1 but another team also moved into a 10-1 position with the detroit lions looking very good indeed.

In other news, my FINS moved into playoff position with a comprehensive win over the hapless Patriots which included a second quarter 24-0 shutout!

The thing with KC is - they have a habit of squeezing tight games and yes, they have not played well of late but i would never write them off at all - they have the game to win it again.

Gonna be another rough end of season for Mahomes with that high ankle sprain. He suffered a high ankle sprain, I think on that same ankle, 2 seasons ago, too, in the playoffs and finished out the year playing 2 more games and winning the Super Bowl with it. I'm afraid that ankle may be an issue for him throughout his career.
