Very simply put...
Pick one player every day who you think will get at least one hit.
Get a hit, your streak continues; get no hits, start a new streak.
Be the first to break baseball's 56-game record and win $5.6 million...only takes a few seconds a day;
Good Luck Everyone!!

57-Game Hitting Streak Prize {taken from MLB Website}The first eligible participant, if any, to achieve at least a fifty-seven (57) game hitting streak, as determined by MLBAM in its sole discretion, will win five million, six hundred thousand U.S. dollars (US$5,600,000) ("57-Game Hitting Streak Prize"). For the avoidance of doubt, a maximum of one (1) 57-Game Hitting Streak Prize will be awarded for the entire Contest.

If no participant achieves a 57-game hitting streak or greater during the Contest Period, as determined by MLBAM, the eligible participant with the longest hitting streak greater than or equal to twenty (20) will win ten thousand dollars (US $10,000) (the "Grand Prize").

I sucked at this last year, the same with ESPN The Streak, but I'll give it a try, hey it's a lot of $

Joe DiMaggio would be proud if one of you guys make it to 57!!

Sounds like a cool game to try but the odds are worse than anything I have ever heard of.

I'm pretty sure the prize was only $1 million or less a couple years ago but then they realized how ridiculous it is to actually get to 57 and upped the prize.

Personally I'm more of a Streak for the Cash kind of guy on ESPN because you only have to compete against other people and someone wins $50k every month.
