I would argue that Busquets, Artur and Modric are the best ones roght now. That said it woul be a fair criticism to day I am choosing two defensive midfielders, and only one who has the responsability of creating opportunities. So I will refrain from putting Busquets among the three and go with Hazard. Because he is a very skilled player and scores loads of goals.
1- Modric
2 - Hazard
3 - Artur

For me, my top three best midfielders look like this:
In third place I put Pogba, everyone understands why.
In second place I have Arturo Vidal, he is a monster in his position. I really like his game
And in the first place I have Frenkie De Jong. You ask who he is at all?
I will answer he is a young midfielder who has a very good future if he continues to play and develop. In 10 years he will be the best 🙂
