Mean Mahine. Calling it the best movie is hard. But he is definitely one of the funniest with a good cast.

Don't know which one is the best, but if specifically about football, then it's a "Goal!" . If next to the football then "Green Street"

-Mean Machine
- victory
-pele
-The Golden Ball
 
Good football movies? hardly you can "catch" some. Quizas "Green Street" is one of the few acceptable, but not talk much about football as a sport, the central theme of the movie are the hooligans. 🙄🙄

I will have to certainly check those out. My all time is - The Damned United. Great film and true story which gives some insight into the Premier League as well as the lower leagues for those who are not familiar.
 
I dont know if there a translated version of russian movie called "Coach" 2018,
this is version of trailer with subtitles, very good movie about football.
 
Also if you want to have some fun you can watch "Shaolin Soccer" with Stephen Chow - he is the genious of the comedy! 😀 😀 😀

Serbian movie about the happenings in local soccer comunity just before first World Cup in Urugway. Former Yugoslavia finished 4th in that first World Cup of Soccer :top:

This is by faaar the best soccer movie ever. If you have ever enjoyed watching Captain Tsubasa, this is your movie.

Never tried that one. I'm going to check it out. Are you talking about 52 ep. anime or something else?
 
Goal is a good film, probably the best of football films !!!:elefant:

Yep, that anime is a must in all its versions. My favourite is an earlier version. Captain Tsubasa J. with 47 ep.
