Team Shaq (OGs) @ Team Candace (Rising Stars): Team Candace (Rising Stars) (+ 6.5) /// 1.83

Last bet won. Even the Rochester Americans official YouTube channel didn't show highlights of the game against Utica Comets. So I also have nothing to say, but I'm glad that I finally broke the losing streak of my hockey predictions. Congratulations to everyone who bet! My betting score is MLB 101-93 in favor of successful, NBA 139-166 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 7-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Team Candace (Rising Stars) will not lose to Team Shaq (OGs) by more than 6 points. Obviously, the last draft was very rich on quality players! Team Candace has only 2 players in the roster spending their 2nd season in the NBA (Keyonte George and Trayce Jackson-Davis). The rest are all players from the last draft. Undoubtedly, the rising stars will compensate their lack of skills with a very high motivation. Shaq's team has an old school star group that will go to the game unbalanced, unmotivated with the goal of smiling, making a few nice dunks and that's it. For them it's a show and the result doesn't matter. Therefore, I don't even exclude that Candace team can win. But I won't risk and put on a very solid handicap of 6 points. Bet? Sure!;)

NHL 4 Nations Face-Off

sweden @ USA: Sweden (+ 1.5) /// 1.57

Last bet lost. I realize it was a show, but why Kevin Durant didn't get free throws at the score of 39:35? Watch the highlights, there was even a double foul! Ryan Dunn grabbed Durant's right hand and Stephon Castle grabbed Durant's left hand. Absolutely, Kevin should have made 2 free throws and I'm sure at least 1 he would have hit. Why is this happening in the NBA? It's the strongest league in the world, but the refereeing is on the level of Ukrainian league (at least in Ukrainian basketball games there are much less scandals). In the end Dame scored 3 points and destroyed my prediction. Why should I lose money if my prediction was going to win? After such games there is no desire to bet on NBA, where referee mistakes decide everything. And this is not the first time! For example, I immediately remembered a game in the past Playoffs between Philadelphia and New York where Nick Nurse didn't get a clutch timeout. My betting score is MLB 101-93 in favor of successful, NBA 139-167 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 7-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Sweden will not lose by more than 1 puck to the USA. This mini 4 Nations tournament is on the NHL schedule, so it's better than betting on AHL. The bet is quite simple. USA has already won 1st place in the group and will play in the Final. Sweden lost their first 2 games in overtime, but they still have a chance to reach the Final. To do that they need to beat the unmotivated USA. I don't think the USA roster will be playing their best 100%. It will be something like a friendly game for the USA. You want to bet? Sure!;)

Neymar scored a goal and made an assist in the last game! I said he would do this in other games but the most obvious thing was to happen in this third game because the first was a debut without game preparation and the second was against rival Corinthians and in the third a smaller team from the interior of the state so my guess for Neymar's games happened and finally his first goal came with an assist too!

Austin Peay @ Bellarmine: Austin Peay (- 4.5) /// 1.83

Last bet won. And this is the 2nd winning bet on hockey. Honestly, I'm pleasantly surprised that Sweden played so well against the USA. Although it should have happened, as all the USA players' thoughts were already in the final game against canada. My betting score is MLB 101-93 in favor of successful, NBA 139-167 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 8-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Austin Peay on the road will beat Bellarmine by 5 points or more. Yes, again a forced bet on college basketball, as there are not even AHL games today. Bellarmine is the conference underdog, who have lost 17 straight games (15 of them by 5 points or more). Austin Peay are in their best shape this season, and the proof is a 3 game winning streak in recent games. Austin Peay have won all of those 3 games by 13 points. Bet? Absolutely!;)

Charlotte Hornets @ Los Angeles Lakers: Charlotte Hornets (+ 12.5) /// 1.85

Last bet lost. 5 days of suffering are over! 2 college basketball predictions, 1 AHL prediction, 1 NBA All-Star Game prediction, and 1 NHL National Teams mini-tournament prediction is what I bet on. As a result, 2 losses on college basketball, 2 wins on hockey, and 1 win in the All-Star game, but that was stolen by the referees again. But thankfully, the NBA regular season is back today! My betting score is MLB 101-93 in favor of successful, NBA 139-168 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 7-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Charlotte Hornets on the road won't lose to Los Angeles Lakers by more than 12 points. Today I'm betting against the team I root for in the NBA. Honestly, the Lakers' chances are overrated. First of all, it's unclear if LeBron James will play since he missed the All-Star game! I don't think LeBron just didn't want to participate in All-Star Weekend. It's highly likely he has an injury. Second, the Lakers will have a back-to-back and the second game will be against Portland on the road. Which game is more important for James to participate in? The answer is obvious (spoiler - it's the game against the Trail Blazers, of course). Third, Luka Doncic! I saw both games against Utah and it was awful! Luka Doncic visually looks like a 45 year old heavyweight boxer, not a basketball player. The game against Charlotte will be even more difficult for the Slovenian, as the Hornets play at a very high pace. Doncic is unlikely to play more than 30 minutes (yes, I know that the Lakers have removed the minutes restriction), as the back-to-back with Portland is ahead, and Luka will be needed much more in that game. Fourth, Charlotte has a near optimal roster. Yes, LaMello Ball and Mark Williams will play, and we may even see Jusuf Nurkic as a back-up center. Fifth, the Lakers have beaten Charlotte by more than 12 points in only 2 of their last 10 games. So yes, I see the Lakers winning here, but somewhere in the 6 to 12 point range. Bet? Sure!;)

Los Angeles Lakers @ Portland Trail Blazers: Los Angeles Lakers (- 3.5) /// 1.83

Last bet won. Of course, I was rooting for the Lakers instead of Charlotte in the clutch, as I realized already at the beginning of the 4th quarter that my bet won. The Hornets' style of play is too uncomfortable for the Lakers. And Jusuf Nurkic played a perfect game in ballhandling: 7 assists and only 1 turnover in 18 minutes! I don't know, why he made 3 three-point shots? Jusuf Nurkic has never been a shooter (and is unlikely to become one!). But his hand-offs were royal! My betting score is MLB 101-93 in favor of successful, NBA 140-168 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 7-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Los Angeles Lakers on the road will beat Portland Trail Blazers by 4 points or more. Yes, back-to-back, but the Lakers have excellent bench depth, and Luka Doncic will prove once again to all skeptics that he is an MVP-level player! By the way, he already looks better functionally than he did in the Utah games. Yes, in the game with Charlotte he had a weak realization, but he just wasn't physically ready for that high tempo from the Hornets players. Portland are athletic players, but their offensive tempo is much lower. And Luka Doncic will have the advantage due to his talent. I won't even exclude 25-30 points from Luka Doncic in the upcoming game. Maybe even a triple-double if LeBron will not play (yes, there is such a possibility that we will see load management in the game against Portland). The Trail Blazers have serious injury problems: Deandre Ayton and Matisse Thybulle will definitely not play, and the participation of Jerami Grant, Robert Williams III and Scoot Henderson is questionable. The Lakers have won their last 5 games against Portland by 4 points or more. Bet? Absolutely!;)

Miami Heat @ Toronto Raptors: Toronto Raptors (to win) /// 2.10

Last bet won. Luka Doncic unexpectedly did not play. But when I saw the news that the Slovenian will not play against Portland, I immediately thought: “Well, now the main thing is that LeBron will play!”. And James did! 40 points in 36 minutes in back-to-back game. 50% three-point shot realization (and 4 hits respectively), 2 steals, 1 block, 8 rebounds. And that's at 40 years! Yes, 11 turnovers, but Portland used the double team in the 3rd quarter against James very effectively. However, there were two back-to-back three-point shots in the 4th quarter that helped the Lakers make the scoring run 16-5 before the clutch (and an 11 points advantage for Los Angeles). Well, my first two NBA predictions after the pause for All-Star Weekend won at very good odds. My betting score is MLB 101-93 in favor of successful, NBA 141-168 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 7-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Toronto Raptors at home will beat Miami Heat. The loss of Jimmy Butler cannot be compensated at the expense of Andrew Wiggins. It's not equal! The Heat have certainly become weaker and without Jimmy Butler I'm not sure Miami will make the Playoffs this season. Yes, they will play in the Play-In, but they will be an underdog there, as Philadelphia will be in good shape (can't be otherwise with their roster) and Orlando or Detroit will be there. Against each of these teams Miami will be an underdog! As for Toronto, they still have enough games to finish ahead of Atlanta Hawks. The Raptors have a much easier regular season schedule than Hawks, so yes, it's realistic. Toronto at home is the 10th team in the East, so the game with Miami will be very important for the Raptors. Brandon Ingram, who was signed to compete for the Postseason, should be back by March 7th! Bet? Sure!;)

Phoenix Suns @ Chicago Bulls: Chicago Bulls (+ 7.5) /// 1.65

Last bet lost. Totally equal game! So I can not say that the prediction with odds of “2.10” (I placed this bet at pokerstars, and other bookies gave from “2.20” on the victory of Toronto) was bad. Too many difficult shots were hit by Bam Adebayo and Tyler Herro. Well in clutch the Raptors defense was awesome. But Miami survived until overtime and won the game. My betting score is MLB 101-93 in favor of successful, NBA 141-169 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 7-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Chicago Bulls at home will not lose to Phoenix Suns by more than 7 points. Chicago can play without Zach LaVine! We saw that last season. And the last game against the Knicks showed that Chicago has become more balanced due to the bench depth as Zach Collins, Tre Jones and Kevin Huerter have joined the team. This is compensation for the Zach LaVine trade. These are actually young players with some good shooting (at the role player level) and some of them are very useful on defense. Of course, the most valuable is Kevin Huerter, who was a longtime Sacramento Kings starting five player. What can be said about Phoenix? The problem with the center is absolutely not solved. Nick Richards is absolutely useless on offense and too slow on defense. Frankly, Jusuf Nurkic is much more valuable. Back-up center Mason Plumlee is even worse than Nick Richards. And yes, Phoenix is so desperate that they put Bol Bol back in the rotation for big minutes. By the way, this was my favorite player in NBA 2k21 when the developers of that computer game made him a hall of fame level player! :ROFLMAO: But in reality, Bol Bol can only be useful (sometimes) in limited minutes. In general, Phoenix this season is a team without defense. And that's their main problem! The only defender in the starting five is Royce O'Neale. Bet? Sure!;)

Detroit Pistons @ Atlanta Hawks: Detroit Pistons (- 1.5) /// 1.75

Last bet won. I wrote in the prediction about Chicago's new role players, and Zach Collins and Kevin Huerter played very useful! In general, Bulls deserved to win, but too many questionable fouls were in Phoenix's favor. That's what helped the Suns win against Chicago. But the Bulls held a 7-point handicap. My betting score is MLB 101-93 in favor of successful, NBA 142-169 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 7-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Detroit Pistons on the road will beat Atlanta Hawks by 2 points or more. The Pistons are in incredible shape! I didn't think Detroit would be so successful this season after joining Tobias Harris, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Malik Beasley. Atlanta lost Jalen Johnson, their second option on offense (after Trae Young) and second option on defense (after Dyson Daniels) for the rest of the season. Well after trading Bogdan Bogdanovic and De'Andre Hunter for a sack of 2nd round picks, it became clear to me that Atlanta was unlikely to even make the Playoffs this season. Therefore, Detroit looks like the clear favorite in the upcoming game. Bet? Sure!;)
