MLB
San Diego Padres @ Philadelphia Phillies:
Philadelphia Phillies (to win) /// 1.60
Last bet lost. I'm having deja vu. Why am I giving money to bookies for the second time in a row? Because again I wrote a correct prediction that Matt Waldron would fail and that Philadelphia would win. It would have made more sense to bet that the Phillies would win by 2 runs or more, but I was highly impressed with the stat of runs total. Well, it's doubly frustrating to lose a bet like that. My betting score is MLB 147-138 in favor of successful, NBA 163-182 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 9-16 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 4-11 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Philadelphia Phillies at home will beat San Diego Padres in the 2nd game of the series. I think I'll use the bet constructor less, as I'm becoming increasingly frustrated with this tool. So today's very simple bet is that San Diego will lose again. I think Philadelphia is the toughest opponent in the League for the Padres. San Diego had no chance in the 1st game of the series and they really didn't deserve to score even 1 run. I think Philadelphia will continue dominating in the 2nd game, especially since they will have the same great starting pitcher playing as they did in the previous game, Christopher Sanchez (his ERA is “2.79”). He's having his best season of his career, and in his ERA was “1.85” in June (25 hits and 7 runs in 34 innings). Bet? Absolutely!
