And this is my 3rd losing bet in a row. But that's a work in process. Without losses, there would be no wins. My betting score is MLB 201-184 in favor of successful, NBA 200-216 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 10-18 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 8-12 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Washington Wizards at home will not lose to Phoenix Suns by more than 11 points. This is my first bet on Washington this season. What can I say about the Wizards? They have a very talented roster that destroyed Toronto and beat Memphis quite confidently. I can't remember such a high-quality performance from Washington in the past few seasons. As for Phoenix, three key players from the starting five will not play: Grayson Allen, Jalen Green, Mark Williams, and Ryan Dunn's participation is in question. I think Phoenix's success in the upcoming game is greatly overestimated by the bookmakers. Bet? Absolutely!

But, as the former Arsenal player said (after his team's failure at Euro 2012): “Your expectations are your problem.” So yes, Washington's roster didn't play that badly, but it wasn't enough to hold on 11 points. My betting score is MLB 201-184 in favor of successful, NBA 200-217 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 10-18 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 8-12 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Utah Jazz at home will not lose to Boston Celtics by more than 8 points. Utah looks quite balanced this season. And the last 2 wins against Detroit Pistons and San Antonio Spurs were no fluke. Boston has been very unstable in away games this season. The Celtics have won by 9 points or more in only 5 of their 16 away games this season. I think we have a great opportunity to win some money this time. Bet? Sure!

Last bet lost. Boston played very confidently on defense and simply destroyed Utah in the 3rd and 4th quarters. This is my 5th losing bet in a row. But I hope that all the bad luck will end in 2025. My betting score is MLB 201-184 in favor of successful, NBA 200-218 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 10-18 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 8-12 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Toronto Raptors at home will beat Denver Nuggets by 5 points or more. Almost the entire Denver starting five will not play in the upcoming game. Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, Christian Braun, and Cameron Johnson will definitely not play, and the participation of role player Julian Strawther is questionable. Only Jakob Poeltl will not play for Toronto. I think that Denver has no chance in the upcoming game without Nikola Jokic. I don't believe that Jamal Murray will be able alone to win the game against almost the optimal Toronto roster. Bet? Absolutely!

Last bet lost. How could they miss all 18 three-point shots? But that's exactly what Toronto's bench did. Of course, Denver looked very weak without Nikola Jokic, but the Raptors players failed to take advantage of that. My betting score is MLB 201-184 in favor of successful, NBA 200-219 in favor of unsuccessful, NHL 10-18 in favor of unsuccessful, NFL 8-12 in favor of unsuccessful.
New bet: Brooklyn Nets at home will not lose to Houston Rockets by more than 11 points. Yes, these teams played against each other at the beginning of the season, and Houston destroyed Brooklyn by 28 points. But the Nets have held an 11-point handicap against the Rockets in their previous 10 games. Both teams have injury problems. Egor Demin and Haywood Highsmith will definitely not play in the upcoming game, and the participation of Michael Porter Jr. and Terance Mann is questionable. Houston has problems with its frontcourt, as the participation of Alperen Sengun, Tari Eason, Clint Capela, and Steven Adams is questionable. Bet? Sure!

This just shows actually how good/much value was on backing the Raptors here like I've said many times before, not just for Sports betting but it's the same for poker too, we can just do our best in each spot and make good decisions as often as possible and hope for positive outcomes, we can't control the results... back on-topic, I've watched the entire game as I've wanted to hear more news about Jokic and also how the team will perform without him(the Joker is Denver); like you've said, Denver didn't look good at all and especially defensively after Valanciunas was out(this Nuggets team is 'cursed'), I mean every possession the Raptors had a great shot(especially those 3-point shots you've mentioned were wide open), but the starters were struggling and nobody from the bench could add anything(I'm saying from my mind without watching any stats- the hosts' entire bench added most likely just around 10 points the entire game...); Toronto is a very good team this season and this was probably their worst game so far(at least offense wise)... nobody can predict that- it would have been something else if Denver won like 150 to 140 lol * with Jamal Murray going for 50+ , but actually the Blue Arrow had a pretty bad game... this wasn't a game won by Denver, but one lost by Toronto...

PS. the Raptors were milliseconds away from sending the game to OT(the bet had IMO great chance to be won there) as Ingram made an insane 3-pointer, unfortunetly the time barely expired...

PS2. I also like Liverpool to win at home and Man City too- I'll leave both games for some live betting tho, I want to see at least a few minutes at both events before placing a bet as Premier League can be a bit 'weird' this period of the year...

Thanks @john_entony for the amazing job done over the years here in this thread the American sports(especially NBA nowadays) are very tough to predict but you've done it IMO well and mostly those 'weird' refs decisions and/or end of games(so many tough 4th quarters for the teams you've backed...); I still hope that you'll eventually post again- maybe and hopefully after things in Ukraine will be much better 🙏🙏🙏 have a great 2026 and GLGL with all your projects my friend <3

Yes, I agree with you - lately there have been fewer successful predictions. With electricity being off for 6-7 hours, then on for just 3 hours and off again, it’s really hard to focus on proper analysis. In such conditions, everyday household matters naturally become a priority rather than doing deep match analytics. Wishing you good luck, and hopefully we’ll meet again at the poker tables.
