I dislike rashad too , just because he beat rampage 😛
But patty you know what these last 3 years shogun hasnt been so good you are correct, i just still recognize him as the shogun from pride man... Mindblowing back then.
I think its a 50/50 match and im pulling for Rua! 🙂
 
My mind is saying Shogun, but my heart is saying Bones.. so, I'm probably going to pick Bones, because I would really like to see him win it.
 
i'd like to see bones win ...great personality. but if rashad wont fight him....than i dunno wtf i want to happen...

really tired of ppl saying they wont fight somebody from their camp/friend list

i noticed this just about everywhere as well. i'd like to see another rematch of this for sure. i think it sounds like it's definately gonna happen.

although im not sure why he wouldn't just wait for the title shot instead of risking losing to rampage...but whatever
 
I really hope page and rashad go at it again , 1 i really like rampage and thiago silva so whatching them fight would rip me aparat. 2 i wanna see rampage wip rashads ***!!! BIG TIME!
 
from what i've read it seems legit. though it hasn't been confirmed for certain anywhere. there is loads of articles.

you cant really believe rampage will wip rashad though right?? i mean...rashad beat him EASILY...like LOL easily in their first fight. ring rust or not as the excuse. Silva vs Rampage woulda been sweet to watch though. Silva is HUGE

Not all that easily.. Rampage just wasn't doing anything. In the 3rd round, Rampage's corner told him he needed to do something or else he was going to lose and he went at it and came real close to TKO'ing Rashad.

If Rampage goes in there in the 1st and 2nd rounds what he did to Rashad in the 3rd round of their last meeting, then Rampage could take the fight by the end of the 2nd round. Rampage will learn from his mistakes and work on what he did wrong.

On the other hand, Rashad is also very smart and will improve on the things that he did wrong. He is quicker and may have more stamina than Rampage.. but Rampage can still go all day as well, and he has superior strength.

Rampage needs to utilize octagon control and be more aggressive with Rashad, and he could take their 2nd fight.http://www.google.com

I still say he did it easily. and i think if him and rampage were to stand and bang Rashad would win that war too, just too fast. Rashad will get the W.

I'm sure he wanted to. Just decided to bask in Rashads ambiance instead. I think everytime he thought about swinging on Rashad, he realized nothing would land because he was so quick...looked like dam Frankie Edgar.

Favorite thing about this fight was it shut up all the Rashad haters and Rampage lovers....now they get to speak again...sigh lol

They haven't announced anything yet just out of the 15 people testing at that event 14 passed and they are studying the other one and Silva's name isn't on it so I would say he could be out for a while waiting to sort it out and that could lead to Rashad v Rampage don't know if he failed yet but Silva is always huge so I guess we'll see

o and everybody bitching about rashad not wanting to fight jones can suck a fat one b/c jones feels the exact same way about evans.

when asked if he would fight Rashad Evans Jones stated this (from october 2010 but still)

There are a lot of MMA fans who are just complete morons. And some who will claim every fighter is on steroids, lol.


My thoughts on Rashad:

I've never been a huge fan of his, and was hoping the good ol' Kansas boy, Brad Imes (he since moved to Iowa) would beat him in TUF 2. But, I respect him as a fighter, and he looked real good against Chuck Liddell (whether Chuck was going downhill at that time or not.. doesn't matter, Rashad looked good!).. With that being said, I really want to see a Rampage vs. Rashad 2. I've been a big fan of Rampage's for a long time, and I think #2 will be a better fight than the 1st one, for the both of them.
