Swiss system, 11 rounds.

44th Olympiad, Chennai, July 29 – August 9. There are 188 teams in the men's tournament, 162 teams in the women's tournament. The men's and women's teams have 4 main players and 1 reserve.

The main indicator for determining places is the sum of team points. Additional indicators for the division: 1. Sonneborn-Berger 2. The number of individual points 3. The sum of the opponents' match points, minus the weakest.

Time control: 90 minutes for 40 moves and 30 minutes until the end of the game with the addition of 30 seconds per move starting from the first.
Game days: July 29 - August 3, August 5 – August 9. Day off: August 4.

I watched this game, in the review, it is noteworthy that Georg Mayer had a German flag on the chess com, although I knew that he was playing for Uruguay🙂 today Magnus is the strongest, unfortunately he will be replaced by a weaker chess player as world champion, this is bad

he gets into the "curiosity of the day" for the second time, this team came on a tourist trip to India, in my opinion, exposing such players is disrespectful to other participants and to chess in general, he probably has a rating of less than 1000

the Uzbeks completely defeated the Armenian national team, if Aronian had not moved to the USA for money, we would have had excellent chances, and these guys are weak
