I think it was well deserved. He had better results than Messi, both in Real Madrid and in the national team of Portugal.
He is an extremely skillful player, but also very dedicated, always training as much as possible, seeking to perfect his game to the maximum level.

Ronaldo is a great football soccer player , an honour I feel to have watched him playing all these years , plus he has a great personality and he loves his family , he supports and helps them . He is just awesome player and leader 🙂 .
The best of the best.
In the distant years, when CriRo played for Manchester United, I fell in love with his game, to this day I consider him the best player of the planet in such a wonderful sport as football. Yes, I was not mistaken in words, it is the best professional player of the planet earth, I do not deny the fact that Messi is also a great footballer, but personally my opinion, Ronaldo is superior to him, he is more technical and powerful player, who can play cool on the second floor, it's wonderful to play free throws, unfortunately time spares no one, and Ronaldo, like Messi is not young, they have only to perform in the professional arena according to my humble forecasts for 5 years, I really hope that they will be replaced by worthy players, who will fight for the title of lu of the world's football player.
