I have been a long time fan of Detroit since the Barry Sanders days and still am. How does everyone feel about Detroit's team? I feel Detroit is solid on both sides but I feel the coaching is where the work needs to be tweaked.
 
I think they will finish last in a tough division, and no playoff hopes. They showed so much promise last year, IDK what happened. Blame it on the Madden Curse.
 
I have always been Lions fan and always will being from Mich. I don't see them making playoffs this year but who knows? They really need a defensive backfield that can stay healthy.
 
they seem to be hit and miss. being a division rival(packer fan) I alwasy enjoy watching the games. Last seasons final game was great. but where is Flynn now. Oh warming the Pine.
 
The Lions are a team with great players but don't really seem to have that winning attitude. They always seem to give up toward the end of the game. I'm a Colts fan so I'm very happy that they gave up a 33-21 lead with 3:30 to go this weekend. But they should have won that game. Mathew Stafford is a great QB and you have Calvin Johnson who is top 3 receivers in the game today. I don't think a coaching change would make that much of a difference, they just need to play a full 60 minutes with the same intensity and enthusiasm throughout the game.
 
They need to work on their cardio that's for sure. like you said they give up in the end everygame they have a lead.

I don't think their cardio is the problem, they're professional athletes, they're definitely in shape. It's more their heart and motivation that they lack.
