Do you prefer the Olympic games or the FIFA World Cup?

I love both. But the World Cup gets my vote x10, actually. It is not even close, for the reasons, that i will watch every game at the World Cup, at the Olympics, i only really love track & field and will watch most of that, lots of the other sports at the Olympics don't really interest me to the point i watch it all.

I like the Winter Olympics because it is a great way to pass time during the season of bad weather when you cannot do much outdoors. I like the Summer Olympics because it has so many of the sports that I love to watch. I like watching the World Cup when it gets down to the final four teams. I will especially be watching this year because Canada will be in it for the first time in years !!!!

FIFA World Cup is better but if I'm not mistaken from 2026 World Cup is gonna be once in a two years instead of 4... That's why, soccer can be removed from the Olympic Games.

They are two different things. The Olympic games express ideals of humanity, and so they have very valuable messages for people like freedom, peace, justice, truth, honesty. Also the idea that athletics is an excellent means of absorbing aggression. On the other hand soccer games are more a show, and just a game.

Olympics have multi-sport events, so if you're interested in a certain game, you'll follow up that game specifically.
FIFA is different, its more popular, and the only game (soccer) is known so much.

I've prefer FIFA, because from a young age I would watch the world cup and cheer for the team I choose.

I actual prefer olympic games. With a big delta to fifa world cup. In my younger years i was attenting to a soccer team and played every week against other. But in this lifephase im not interested in football only in local games. The big soccer is to boring for me. Olympics are developing in the same way but actual it ok for me to watch. There are alots of underestimated sports which you could only watch on olympics, because normally no tv broadcasting is existing. So im happy that i could watch this sports. Im interested in both winter and summer, with a little bit mir interesting in winter games. That i watch also in normal weltcup like biathlon nordic combine or jumping.

Those are both fantastic events I can't subject to comparison.
One unites athletes from all over the world, competing in a huge variety of disciplines, among which everyone could find at least a few he would watch with a great pleasure.
The other brings together the best national teams of every continent to compete for the world cup of the most popular game on earth.
Of course they are both worth watching though I understand that it doesn't feel the same to our American friends who are still not very used to soccer and for a good reason I must say. Baseball and especially Football are amazing too.
