Nicki Lauda died at the age of 70.
He was three-time F1 World Champion and four-time father.

Do you know him outside Germany or Austria?

He was a great driver and above all a genius in motorsport changed things in F1 until his death

Niki Lauda is the first Austrian athlete to be laid out in St Stephen's Cathedral in Vienna. Many people, friends and relatives bid him farewell. Hamilton and Nicko Rosberg are also at the sarcophagus and give their last escort.

He will be missed. He has always been up there with the greatest in the sport and a good friend of Ronnie, the swedish legend[emoji846] It's really sad that almost everyone from that era is gone.

Does anybody else know him?
Do you follow Formula 1?
Which motorsport are you more interested in?

He was an exceptional driver recognized by moto fans all over the world.
After retiring from F1 among other activities he became a sport comentator
and his face was easy to spot after the F1 race in the pit area.

Yeah, I saw that movie...
I think the film explains well how drivers tick, and especially Nicki...

did you see the movie, what did you like most?
...I thought it was best that he always spoke his mind honestly, usually very benevolently...
