Why the hell would Alabama play WV for a non conference game?Like it isn't hard enough to go undefeated in the SEC.
I mean we will still crush yalls ass🙂 but still
 
Hard to believe that these two programs have never met. Also hard to believe that JB DOES sound a little skeeeeerrreeed. I would think 'Bama would be a reasonable favorite, but it's so far in the future; who the hell knows.
 
I'm just hoping that the prop bets make it worthwhile to watch the game (yawn).

Doh. Hope WVH isn't listenin'. That's GOT to be worth a couple infraction points😱 .
 
Not an Alabama fan, but you have to give them credit for taking non-conference games against solid teams while being in the SEC.
 
How about giving WVU credit for the same? We'll be playing in the Big 12 then so it's not like our conference schedule will be some walk in the park.

Actually losing a game like this 1st week of the year doesn't kill your NC hopes especially if the 4 game championship is in place by then (which it should be).

Based on the reputation that the SEC has been given in college football it should be an easy choice for a school like WVU to accept this game. In my eyes, Alabama is taking an unnecessary risk and WVU has nothing to lose unless they get blown out.
However, this is looking at it with the current layout of the championship game. As you said, the new layout will change things.
 
Maybe those roads will lead yall to some defensive players house.😉
 
Do you outdefense someone to win now??? I always thought you had to outscore them!!! 🙂

This has absolutely nothing to do with the thread, but I thought I should share.

My boss at work gives EVERYONE nicknames. Being the newish girl, she hadn't found one for me yet. Then one day she decided to call me "Patty", because she said I reminded her of a Patty that she knew. It stuck when I actually answered to her calling me Patty.

To add to that, we work in close quarters, so often times we gals have to scoot past one another, which often means that our booties bump. I joked that I always bring "Bob" to work with me, and "Bob" has a tendency to get in the way (B.O.B. = Big Ol' Butt 😛). Thus, I became "Patty Bob".

Sometime after that, I somehow ended up catching a fly with my gloved hand, so I became "Patty Bob Flyhand". But apparently that wasn't enough for my boss...she determined that we needed to throw a "Joe" in there somewhere. So my full name at work = Patty Joe Bob Flyhand.

Anyway, I figured you should all be afraid of the fact that I (sort of) share a name with JoeBob. And now that I've bored you with my work story that has absolutely nothing to do with this thread, you may commence in boring the ever-loving crap out of me with all your college ball talk. 😀 :girl:
