Finally Athletics has started. You have to like Ennis, seems such a lovely and bubbly girl.
 
One of the strangest 3k steeplechases ever. Jogs off line, catches everyone, sprints away near the end, winds down for 2nd place and mvoes out to the outer lanes and jogs straight off. Utterly bizzare lol.
 
wtf is this. No athletics on BBC. Having to watch it on I-player so can't grind poker.

Other interesting notes:

North Korea has 5 medals (4 gold and 1 bronze). 3 gold & 1 bronze in weightlifting, and 1 gold in Judo.

Kazakhstan has 4 medals, all gold... 3 in weightlifting, and 1 in cycling road.
 
My thoughts on the olympics, victoria pendletons hot, jessica ennis is hot, most of the female beach volleyball players are hot, i basically only watch events with fit women in them, oh and the gymnastics had plenty of nice birds too
 
One of the guys from bike team (won gold medal) comes from my town, I actually know where he lives lol.

16 year old chinese girl improves best time at 400m medley by 5 seconds in 2 years, "very concerning", must be doping no other explanation makes sense!

15 year old american girl improves best time at 800m freestyle by 39 seconds in 2 years (and 15 seconds in 6 months), true american hero all the hard work in training has paid off woo!

Amazing morning. Two golds, Ennis extends her lead and the women's team pursuit to come later. Could be an incredible day

Heh I don't think either of them were doping, innocent until proven guilty and all that. I'm just mocking the US press and that idiot coach. 🙂

I know 🙂 - its sad, that its often a case of who shouts loudest gets the most notice
 
Don't want to count chickens and all that, but Ennis is all but there in the heptathlon. Also didn't realise Mo Farah's 10k is tonight, could be an absolutely phenomenal night
 
Found on Sky but forgot to mention - channels 450-473 are 24 channels available of Live Olympic sports.
Channels 474-497 are all Olympic HD channels.

At the moment there are 18 channels on showing - water polo, sailing, football, tennis, fencing etc

Stunning from the women's team pursuit, just keep going faster and faster. Really thought they'd gone as fast as they could this morning, but they keep finding more.

Also, Oscar Pistorius should be nowhere near these games
 
The soccer team of Brazil took two expulsions of players from Honduras to win 3 x 2 .. the Brazilian team will not reach the finals.... 🙁
