NBA betting thread 2019/2020

Shouldn't trust them, but down 3... at home, +112 moneyline... just feels like a game a team wins, but screws me out of my spread

2-2

Could have been another 1-3 night, but Utah actually decided to play those last 2 minutes and change and covered. Could have pushed the second half if they didn't give up that offensive rebound with 10 seconds left. This crap is going to make me old quick.

Why are the Hornets 3.5 point dogs tonight???

Down to 2.5 points now @ 3:30pm CST - maybe because they played last night - I am going to stay away from this game

If I play anything this will be it, perhaps a tease but nothing more. I'm on a bad run with the NBA the last few days.

I did bet Utah -5 for tomorrow night. Not sure why, they have lost their consistency, but they are playing atlanta... so 5 points seems like a deal. Says a lot of how far Utah has fallen though, a few weeks ago this line would have been double digits.

Tuesday (2-0) +$200/ +2.0 Units Overall (52-33-4) +$1570 / +15.70 Units

Recap - Hornets covered and won (1-0) Pacers covered and won (1-0) Lakers run out of gas - no AD

Wednesday -

Miami (+8) @ Philly - Both teams should be on up trend tonight - ESPN televised game will help with motivation

Minnesota (-7) @ Home vs New Orleans - Pelicans went to OT last night and got broke down - Wolves will feast on this back to back

1 Unit - $100

On Dec 19th I think the following to teams will win

Milwaukee Bucks
Houston Rockets

Pushed in utah. Atlanta actually played a pretty solid game start to finish. Usually it's first half and choking in the second.

Wednesday (1-1) -$10/ -.10 Units Overall (53-34-4) +$1560 / +15.60 Units

Recap - Heat won in Philly (1-0) Towns doesn't play and Wolves get spanked (0-1)

Friday -

Detroit (+9) @ Boston - Celtics pretty banged up - Rose may have big day

1 Unit - $100

I like Denver -10 tonight with kat most likely being out again. That forces some really bad physical match ups for the wolves in high altitude where the wolves will have to work harder to compensate.

Indiana is -4.5 -right now. If it hits 4 I'll be on it. Kings are falling off slowly by my eye test.

Edit actually I'm going to just buy that half point. When I said that, the kings were juiced -113, but it just moved to both -110, so the likelyhood of it going to 4 isn't realistic. Probably goes up if anything. I figure it will settle on 4.5 or 5.

Denver -2 second half.
They are up 10, so they need a point to to cover full game, this isn't much of a stretch over that, so pretty much just doubling the bet here.

1-1
I got out of the full game right toward the end there, but the line wasn't enough to take a risk and get out of the second half too. I just can't get going in the NBA this week.

On December 21st I think the following teams will win

Milwaukee Bucks
Los Angeles Clippers
Houston Rockets

Friday (0-1) -$110/ -1.10 Units Overall (53-35-4) +$1450 / +14.50 Units

Recap - Detroit is just not very good and seem very old (0-1)

Sunday -

OKC (+2) @ Home vs LA Clippers - Thunder have won past 3 - George returns to OKC for 1st game there since trade - Leonard may sit

1 Unit - $100

I'll try the Lakers -3
Everything says go Denver here. They are playing well, and the Lakers are kind of slacking as of late, but I bet Lakers at home under 5 everytime. Besides, I've got no other action and haven't played much NBA this week. A late game, so I'll be watching.

Sunday (1-0) +$100/ +1.0 Units Overall (54-35-4) +$1550 / +15.50 Units

Recap - Thunder win by 4 and George gets standing ovation (1-0)

Monday -

Portland (-6) @ Home vs New Orleans - Trailblazers playing well right now and Pelicans are not

1 Unit - $100

Was 0-1 last night. I ended up not even watching the game. They got whooped from the looks of it. Kind of expected that, but I'm going to stick to that Lakers strategy.

Philly -6
Just like the physical match up here. Nothing more to it really

Nuggets -3
Small line for a back to back. Denver look back in form after having that mild slump.

Houston -6
this is a semi fade on the kings. They have fell off a bit, they were being surprisingly competitive against teams that should smoke them, but that's not been happening as consistently as of late. Houston haven't been very consistent lately either, but the kings like to foul... and they are playing against harden... this guy doesn't even have to do those bogus flops anymore, he just looks at the ref and they blow the whistle on some phantom call sending him to the line.

On Dec 23 2019, I think the following NBA teams will win

Portland Trail Blazers
Houston Rockets

Looks like it will be 2-1. Houston is still playing but up 20. Denver didn't cover by 1... those are always extra sucky. I'd rather get blown out than to lose by 1.

Monday (0-1) -$110/ -1.10 Units Overall (54-36-4) +$1440 / +14.40 Units

Recap - Trailblazers lose to Pelicans at home (0-1)

Wednesday -

Toronto (+4) @ Home vs Boston - Stats pretty close - like Raptors as home town dog

Philly (+4) @ Home vs Milwaukee - 76ers as well a good home town dog

LA Clippers (+2) @ LA Lakers - Bench for Clippers should be difference

Merry Christmas! :icon_rend
1 Unit - $100

Utah -4 hook
I don't buy into portland. They aren't a good team, even when they are fluffed up to be in certain games. Yes Utah has become a wildly inconsistent team, but they are home here, and playing a much more inconsistent team. Even when it's not playing up to its potential, the Utah defence should be too much to handle here.
